Excellent question. At the shelter, we would suggest that you ask your neighbours to check their garages or gardening sheds for a stowaway cat. Neko once went into the neighbours basement through their cat door - and got trapped inside. Probably visiting her cat buddies and their cat food.Could he be trapped inside a neighbour's garage?

vines and prayersStrictly indoor since he adopted us. He was outside for about 6 months before that, we think. He has escaped before and he comes home very late at night. It's dark here now but some neighbours are setting off fireworks so that's not going to help.Oh, Judy you must be worried sick. Does he go out at all? On a leash? For walks? Or strictly indoor?
It's dark out now and he's black.Walk around the neighborhood calling his name again. I've done the "crazy cat lady walk" many a time-- they don't always show up immediately, but it can give them that little extra shot of courage when they hear your voice.
Come home, Boomer.![]()

for you.Does he respond to a can being opened? Try the timer on the phone? He came to the back door but ran off again when I started towards the door. So now Allen is in the basement, the food is a little further into the house and the back door is open.
The sound of a jar of baby food opening?Does he respond to a can being opened? Try the timer on the phone?

Awesome news!He just came in
