Ideally you feed lunch before nadir. Some Lev cats drop hard at onset, in which case a small meal 1/2 or so before onset is a good idea too. So far he hasn't shown any big drops then, but it's early days and not enough data. You could try feeding the same time you have been for now, and adjust later if the data tells you to.
 
Now I understand why people complain so much about the u100 syringes without half marks. I'm now one of them lol. Harder to be more precise.

If the syringes you're using now don't have .5 unit marks, use an old syringe and draw up some kind of colored fluid to what you think .25, .5 or .75 is (or 3.25, 3.5, 3.75) and then you'll have something to compare to. Consistency is more important than exactness

When you buy syringes again, all these syringes have half unit markings (very important when you're doing microdosing) and are the correct syringes for U100 insulin and are available from ADW online:

They're also available at WalMart if you have one near you. Their Relion brand 3/10ml, 30 or 31 gauge, 6mm or 8mm insulin syringes all come with half unit markings and are only $12.58 for a box of 100 (although a lot of them don't realize they DO come with half unit markings!)

Are these the ones you are talking about? These are the ones I want, since my eyesight ain't the greatest anymore. I'm nearsighted and now farsighted. I have to take my glasses off to see closeup things. Tried by-focals and the no line lenses. .yikes made me sick and dizzy(I have vertigo).

Yes, those have half unit marks....and most of us have trouble with seeing the lines. Some of us use reading glasses (you can even put one pair on top of the other to get double the magnification) or if you want to be really fancy, you can get jewelers glasses that add light and magnify things even more.
