well....I'm just all off track....
yesterday DH wanted to run offt (o brother, where art thou? line) to albuquerque to talk to comic book stores about my mother's collection,
so we did and DD was willing to have dinner with us so we stayed and enjoyed time with her.
I guess we are in a better zone with her since she chose to have dinner with us, turns out her husband's
parents also went down there and they had dinner with him just before his shift started ( works at Macaroni Grill)
She chose us over them.... so yay.
But we didn't get home 'til 9pm... ( shadow's shot time was 6 pm)
so now I'll have to work it back but ...
this morning I overslept so she didn't get her shot until 9:30 am. so another half hour off.......

today I have to work a little and I Must go see dgm .... with my week of dr appt's and work and too much to
do, I haven't been out there since last Sunday. :oops:
fortunately she doesn't know what day it is anymore, and can't remember anything correctly, the dementia
is so bad now.... but I know I haven't been out there.

:mad:at my dh this morning....
we have a new car and he's suddenly become overzealous about cleaning it.
I went to dr out of town on thursday and I always put paper trash in the little door pocket.
I had a few sugar wrappers, straw wrapper, and a receipt there and he's freaking out over it.
How dare I leave trash in the car?
let's see, had to bring in an ice chest, cat food, groceries and didn't run right back out and empty
the trash.
I should be strung up.
it's got fur in it from taking the droolers out to see mamaw... and dirt from our feet... and
a less than handful bit of trash..... sheeeeeeesh!!!:mad:
 
Since Tuxie was diagnosed there are a lot of things that have been put to the side to deal with later...cleaning being one of the big ones. I keep the kitties' food and water dishes clean and their litter boxes clean...other things are done on a definitely have to do basis. It's all about priorities.

I cleaned and vacuumed and washed floor mats and dusted in my car a number of weeks back. Then it rained and I had taken Tuxie to the vet and I had given people a ride. The only way a car stays "perfectly" clean is if no one ever enters the vehicle. Life happens!! Sounds like someone needs to take a "chill pill" or get a new hobby... :).

Hope you get back on track soon...it will all come together in the end!
 
All will be well. Or at least as well as it can be. Shadow will get back on schedule, you'll assuage your guilt about not visiting DGM.

And DH? His problem, not yours. I'd be tempted to leave little bits of paper in odd places every time I took the car out just to see if he could find them. Sort of a treasure hunt! But then, I can be an annoying little bugger when I feel like it.

You'll get Shadow back on track. Life happens and we got off track sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for not visiting your DGM with your busy week. At least you do go and visit her. Some people don't. It sounds like your DH needs to realize cars get dirty if you use them and it's not the end of the world.

she was asleep so I woke her.
she couldn't really think straight enough to say much.... she would start to speak and realized she couldn't think of what she wanted to say.
pretty much just asking the same thing over and over...
it's sad when you get to this state.... just "waiting for God"

getting ready to do Shadow 30 minutes early.... got lots of 30 minute sets to make up....

Shadow will get back on track.

My DH is getting a new car - I imagine I'll be knocking dirt off the bottom of my shoes for a while. :rolleyes:
