Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a gorgeous, sunny day here in the North Country. The temperature was 32 degrees this morning, but we are supposed to hit 70 today!! Rusty is celebrating with a bounce! We all had a good night and this morning Rusty ate well and we had a combing and a schmooze. He's ready for the day. The beans are going to get their canoes ready for the "season". First paddle is on Monday and there are paddles scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday, too. Yay!! The other things we will do today: open the downstairs front porch and take the quilt off the door to it; maybe some yard work.
Wishing everyone a good weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Yo Kitties,
Tomorrow is the Full Flower Moon and we are going to party in the desert, probably near Sedona, to see the spring wildflowers. Party planning session today on my front porch. All invited. We'll discuss the location for the party (Tillie suggests Cathedral Rock, Arizona, and Neko suggests we caravan up to Utah to Polly's place afterwards.)
Come to the planning session and we'll have refreshments and plan!
~ Rusty

Ginger just left to go help out with the planning party.

I'm so outside today too, doing some gardening and little tiny yard clean up.

Enjoy your spring day!

It must be spring! If the North Country is preparing for warm weather and canoes, I believe we have spring. Yea!!!! Way to celebrate, Rusty. Now break the bounce and head for the Lagoon.

I gots a little more preening to do, Rusty, and da bean wants one more pokie before I head out for the planning party. But I'll be there soon. Sedona is wonderful; Cathedral Rock, majestic. I'm thinking if we swing up my way we could go to the Overlook at the top of the Bunting Trail and get close enough to the sky to almost touch the stars. DaBean still looks up that way most every night and she's sure she sees Boomer dancing again. It makes her smile.--Polly

Hi again,
Rusty got his 3rd number under 50 on this dose, so he gets a reducie tonight (down a drop to a skinny .75). We opened up the porch and Rusty was so excited that he scarfed and barfed his lunch. But he came back and ate some more and is now chillaxin' in his favorite wicker armchair (which we move to the porch when we open it up), waiting for his pals to arrive so they can plan the Full Flower Moon party. Lots of good suggestions for venues already.

Off now to work on "Winnie", our 25-year-old tandem canoe (a 16',6" kevlar We-noh-nah "Sundowner" with wood trim). She always gets to open and close the canoeing season. Last summer Linda (Bear Man) and I paddled her on Lake Lila.

bbl. I think I hear some kitties arriving. Rusty has some Adirondack microbrews in the 'fridge and some sausages on the griddle.

Congrats on the reducie. Nice that you can finally go canoeing again.

I'm on my way. I can't wait to hang out on the porch while we plan.

Looks like Rusty was really happy to get onto the porch again. :D

I was thinking of you guys today at the end of rowing when we saw two canoeists getting ready for a weekend of camping up the inlet. Getting the boats ready - a task of much promise. :):)

I'z willing to try a new porch anytime. Bestest place to snooze, er, I mean plan. ~Neko
