Hi Everyone,
Another Monoject day. Dose measurement continues to be a challenge. Cold, windy, overcast, rain today. Rusty went outside for about a minute. His appetite was pretty good.
Sorry to miss some days lately. The Climate March on Sat. went great. The paddle yesterday was wonderful, even though the weather could have been better. We managed to get under the low bridge (because of the high water the bridge could have caused us to cut the paddle short) and had a very nice paddle on Ampersand Brook. Lots of beaver activity there (big trees in the process of being felled by Nature's Architects). Yesterday evening, after the paddle, we had a friend over for an impromptu dinner (his wife was at "quilt camp"), so I never did get a Rusty condo started. Today I spent doing chores and paperwork: the price for playing.

Hope all is well in L&LL. So encouraged that Lyresa's Spike Kitty is doing well. (@Squeaky and KT (GA)

Very sorry to have missed Babu's OTJ party (Climate March got in the way). Chef Rusty is continuing the OTJ party tonight and hopes that the whole L&LL gang will come to enjoy the celebration. (@Veronica & Babu-chiri )

Glad to hear you're still able to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, Ella.....although it sounds like Rusty isn't as impressed (unless the sun is out anyway!!)

Yo Rusty....I went out to visit da sharks tonight! Dey is fine!! Didn't want youz to worry!! I thinx extending Babu's OTJ party is a fine idea!! ~ China

Sorry about the Monojects, over time you will become resigned to them as I was the BDs. :(

I am glad you had a good first official paddle and that paddle season is now underway. It really is better on the water. :)Ugh on the weather for you. I decided to travel to get a dose of warm. Liz, who finished her marathon on Sunday, and I are meeting up with Marje today in Tucson. :joyful:

How great that you three can get together. Lots to talk about! Say hi to Liz and Marje for me. How did Liz do in the marathon? (which marathon was it?)

SLO marathon (San Luis Obispo), she was fifth out of eight in her category. Not bad for knees that started acting up a couple weeks before the event. I went as one of her support people, great excuse to get out.

Congrats, Liz! (@Anne & Zener GA ) Knees acting up in a marathon are no fun. Once in the NYC marathon my hip was killing me at about the 18-mile mark. Then I slipped on an orange peel and landed on my hip. That fall cured it!!
Hope you guys had a great visit with Marje today.
