Mannie and I hope for normalcy for all those effected by the severity of recent storms. Stay safe, stay warm.

Ahhhhhh, yesterday... Mannie spent the majority of the day in bounce mode: alot of pinks, alot of yellows. A fairly non-eventful day. We have a decent amps this morning - a 192, so I am hoping for a nice cycle this morning. Maybe Mannie can find his way back the greens. With that +2 it looks like he is on his way.... Paws crossed for ya Mannie. cat_pet_icon

Despite the bouncing, Mannie has a very nice day yesterday. :-D :-D We had a weekend of sunny weather. It was nice to be able to open up the house, let Mannie come and go as he pleased. He spent the day out in the sun, on the deck, or in his yard: sun bathing, grass rolling, perimeter patrolling, domain surveillance. :cool: He was one happy dude. Things have returned to predictable this morning: gloomy overcast skies, threat of rains evident. so.... we were back to nanner hugging this morning. :razz: Breffis consumed with gusto, auto feeder ignored. He as too busy with the nanners to be bothered with a feeder that was telling him: "come and eat me..." so, as usual I had to escort him to breffis #2. :roll: yep - normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone, even if it is Monday. :-D Not too sure what is up here... morning walk if the rains hold off some. Maybe I'll sit on my butt all day and do nothing.... :lol: :lol: and not likely.

My friends! What a day yesterday! so many things we did. I was impressed with our bucket brigade at Rusty's - PHEW! that was hard work! I never new a cellar could hold so much water.... :shock: Sure did like the turkey burgers we grilled up afterwards. That new chipotle sauce we came up with was really good! Maybe a chillaxin' day today? What'd'ya guys wanna do? ~~ Mannie

Good to hear all is normal in Mannieland although I do hope you guys get some nice weather.

Mannie is coming down and looking good with the +2 bg @ 135. I bet he gives you a nice cycle and even some greens. Nice hearing about Mannie's morning routine. You have cloudy weather, and we are to reach 89 degrees - ouch!! Mannie never tires of those nanners, so cute!

Hey Mannie, that was hard work yesterday helping with Rusty's cellar, but what fun it was eating the turkey burgers wth chipotle sauce afterwards! We had so much fun at Gracie's house, too, lounging at the pool. I say we do something relaxing today and chill out by one of our friend's pool and grill some hot dogs. :lol: :lol: I always get a giggle out of Mannie's WCR in the morning. Michelle, he has made you his food slave. That auto feeder just isn't doing it for him! I love that he can go in and out as he pleases- he must be incredibly happy about that! We have some perimeter patrol going on here too. I hope he makes it to the greens- that +2 has me thinking he will! :mrgreen:

83 @ +3 SWEET and :shock: and :cool:. Considering the speed of his descend I went with a 14% for his +3 mini meal, just to slow this drop up some. I will check him @ +3.5. oh hooray this is in the daytime, that I am home, and that I don't have to baby today.... :?

Hi Iorwen - thanks! it is a great morning for the boy. oh I wish on the weather.... it has just started raining, and the forecast says it is to be here for a week. A week? they have got to be kidding... oh wait! This is the PNW, and it is supposed to do that....

Hi Ann - that would be an affirmative on the greens - already there, and we still have a few to go before nadir. Ought to be a busy morning! :lol: :cool: --- send some of that 89 here, OK? Mannie would love it. that and those silly nanners. yep - never tires of them - they get the play and once over several times a day. No wonder he is a charter member of nanners anonymous!

Hi Patty - I won't complain! Love this morning, yesterday is what is was, and we keep moving forward. The boy is on a roll today. :cool: bummer on your tbp, but with a spring in your step it will all be good.

Hi Violet - oh i know.... :lol: :lol: :roll: I am the boys food slave... and yes - he does love it outside. He's really very good about staying in his yard, rarely ever wanders. the one time he did a dog thought he'd be fun. :shock: :o :shock: and that was the last time he did that. and YES! We have green!

NICE green!! Looking like a nice cycle today for Mannie :cool: :cool: That is a quick drop....so 14% to slow it down? I used 4% at Zoe's +4 last night - she seems to be carb sensitive - it took her from 89 to 120.

Pools open guys - Hey Mannie - wanna pick everybody up and come hang at the pool? Hotdogs on the grill and sunshine all around. I have lots of floaties and noodles and water wings for kitties who can't swim. Sees ya later ~Zoe

73 @ +4. yay - slowed down. I went with a 11% this test, we shall see if it was too much. Next test @ +4.5

Hi Sherry - yeah, sometimes it takes a 14% to slow things down, if he's taken the express elevator. I've tried a number of combos: it seems that when he drops a good 50 points in an hour I need to go with a higher carb food. I don't think he is as carb sensitive as some kitties, so I can get by with that.

Hi Barb - YAY!, and isn't it great? and in the daytime!! Guess he figured that the weather sinks so he might as well go diving in the green lagoon. :lol: :cool:

Zoe - that sounds so great - I am so there! POOL PARTY AT ZOE's!! ooooooo - I LUBS them noodles thingies - SWEET! ok.. I will ge the gang and be there as soon as we can. YA! ~~ Mannie

Mannie...my paws are so sore from lifting all those buckets!!! A little princess like me is not used to that kind of work!! I'm happy to be chillaxin by Zoe's pool today and using her noodles!!!! It's too windy here today for laying out by the pool and my beans are tired from all that work Sat and Sun!!! Let's party!!

Wow, look at Mannie go - my prediction came true re the greens! What a beautiful cycle, and Mannie is still surfing! I guess the dose you're on at present is working. They really like to keep us on our toes.

What a way to turn things around from yesterday. Mannie is just unbelievably fabulous today -- go green!! Hope he continues to have a great evening. I love the way Mannie sometimes eats out of the automatic feeder and then will totally ignore it unless he is escorted. You would think that once he figured it out, he would be sitting there waiting for it to open.

Hi Marje - He's surfin' it! well... he was.... :-D Maybe he will get it back. the greens and blues that it is. OK: now that breffis sounds mighty darn good. it was the pecans and brown sugar that got me. well the french toast too. oh yummmmmmmmmmmm!

Hi Ann - yep, you were right! He does seem to like this dose. We have had a few off days, but overall, so far, it's been good. and oh yes on the keeping us on our toes part. Mannie is good at that - just when I think I have it all figured out he changes something. :roll:

Hi Georgia - oh I know on the feeder - weird isn't it? When I first bought the thing it took him maybe a few days to figure it out - he used it faithfully. Then one day he stopped. never could figure out why - it's not like he doesn't know what is in there. maybe once or twice a week he will go and eat when he hears it make it's noise - other than that I am the escort service. :roll: :roll:

Hi Michelle, What a wonderful cycle for Mannie (the end of the day is just a blip, right?). I hope your weather improves for tomorrow. We were pretty dry today, but the rain has started this evening. Those kitties may have to come back tomorrow to help bail!!

Thanks for your comments on our condo. It's tough....I don't think we will actually be changing too much on the way we manage her normally and she does love to surf the 40s.....just like another little Princess I know. We're just gonna see.....I sure would like her to break through this barrier of going to .5u. But only safely. Hope you have a great night...Mannie kept you busy today.

Mannie...YES...everyone can come here tomorrow. New cushions are out and it's supposed to be warm!!!! Tobey...he gets those muscles from hanging off things!!

Hi Marje - I know on the dosing - it is tough to know what to do , what is best. I know you'll do what you know you need to do for Gracie. somewhere along the line she will let you know. and yes on her and that barrier. I have yet been able to get Mannie below the 2.50 mark, where he can stay there - we've been dancing around that one for over a year. Ya never know - maybe it could be tomorrow. paws crossed. Gracie will get there - no doubt in my mind.

Gracie - YES!!! We will come then tomorrow. Tobey hangs off stuff? :shock: wow -that is so cool! I knew he had to be working out. See you later? maybe we all could hang out around a fireplace somewhere, tell stories and stuff and have a hot toddy or two -- it's till cold here, and I could use one. ~~ Mamie

I really hope your are successful with you house hunt - it is such an exciting time. At least you are doing your research - I know you'll find the perfect one. better watch out then - I saw Mannie with catalogs and books on successful house warming parties... :shock:

What did they do with Mannie? He's supposed to be headed down to blue!!!

Mannie...we gots a fireplace by our swimming pool and a big ramada where we can lay on the furniture out of the sun by the fireplace!! We gots it all for us...and lots of catnip thanks to everyone!!
