Thanks Carla and Wendy. It was a great hike, snowed all morning, but cleared up for the afternoon. Saw another beautiful bald eagle, and various hawks. Was a long day, so I am really thankful for the autofeeder, you`re right, they are awesome. Lulu was glad to see me, until test time. Mama can be such a bonehead: I found this test strip on the coffee table, and used it. Well it was the one we used this morning and I neglected to throw it out. It looked new, I guess the blood evaporated and left no stain. So another ear pick, this time I hadn`t pushed the strip all the way into the meter and got an error reading. So one more time, by this time Lulu was pretty p.o.`d, can't blame her, so took a test from a growling kitty. Good number, in the lower blues, so looks like she probably spent some time at the lagoon today.
I`m supposed to hike again tomorrow, so we`ll see what her early numbers look like.
 
Thanks, Marilyn. I`m so tired from the hike, I can hardly keep my eyes open. But Lulu`s +2 was a big drop so I`m going to set the alarm for another test in an hour.
