Once again Jupiter is bouncing! I am really hoping he will clear this bounce quickly!! Last bounce lasted a lot less time then normal - which I was very happy about- so hoping to see that again!


Shot 1 hr late at AM shot. (10 am) So I will be shooting at 930pm tonight.

That was a very nice blue surf last night early in the cycle. I see someone is bouncing again. Hopefully those numbers are coming down this afternoon and tonight's are even better.

Jamie and Jupiter, hi, how are you ?? Boy your babies numbers are pretty good. How much insulin is he taking ???
I am having such a hard time with my boy and I just can't understand why !!!
Keep up the GOOD work Jaimie !!! Whatever your doing seems to be right.

Katie- It looks like he is slowly coming down. I sure hope you start feeling better soon!

Becki - If you look at Jupiters SS his numbers didnt come down at all at first - it did take a bit of time and increases then reductions. I think Rags may just need more time and if you are testing him now you will be able to get advice on his dosing - and I think that will really help bring his numbers down. I am so excited to see Rags get his first blue number! It will happen - it will just take time ya know. And thank you Becki - I have been trying really hard taking care of my baby Jupe. I make sure he only eats LC food now, and freeze dried treats - which he didnt like either of these when we first started but now he really enjoys them.

Yay!! Jupe is back in the blues!!! he just loves these lower numbers!!

this is technically 11 and a half hours since I last shot but trying to get him back on schedule. Is it okay to shoot now? Yes I can monitor all night

With that 57 and that it looks like Jupiter has been dropping since +9, I don't know if I'd shoot early. I'd like to see another test to make sure the 57 isn't a dropping number. Can you re-test at what would be +12?

As long as Jupiter is surfing, it should be fine to shoot. I would get early tests -- maybe a +0.5 to start just to be sure he doesn't decide to head south.

Okay just shot him and letting him eat as much LC as he is hungry for which is what i normally do at shot time. i will test at +.5 to start with. thank you sienne

first time for me lol... i have however used a lancet once and it poked the whole way thru the ear and the cotton round and into my finger

Hey Jamie!!!

GREAT JOB!!! You are doing fantastic at shooting these wonderful numbers and look how well Jupiter is responding.

I'll be on tonight if you need any help or just company. Good number for the +.5. I'd probably still get a +1 and +2.

When and what did you feed? I'm wondering if he could make it to +4 without dropping?

Fed him LC at PMPS - i let him eat as much as he wanted... which was quite a decent bit. They free feed (I have LC food out only) so I dont know if he has eaten anything since then.

I dont mind testing at +3... I am going to be awake then either way - its in 20 minutes.

+3 was 96. Looks like his numbers are holding steady for now. Hmm, not quite sure when I should test again next. Any suggestions?

Do you think you could rest for a bit and test at +5? You could give him a little LC food.

And since I am still awake I am going to test now and then go take a nap..... +4 is 113.... I can still test at +5 if you think I should..?
