Guss is bouncing hard after the yellows. My guess is that you're going to have to wait until after nadir but I don't have expertise with R. Let me see if I can track down Libby.

Moderate R dose post-nadir should help Gus to dip a little lower. R.25 usually brings about a drop of 100 pts. Knowing my boy's liver though, he may bounce again. One good thing about Gus when he bounces, he clears relatively quickly. Have a good afternoon everyone. :smile:

Sorry I didn't visit yesterday but I believe I saw he had some really nice numbers so hope he clears this quickly and the R will help him come down, Bev. Have a great day.

Thanks for all the info on dentals, Julie. Yes, Gus is definitely improving and I'm happy with his progress. Start low and go slow. Slow, understatement of the century, but worth it. Gus got R at AMPS and at +6. Then I wanted to see what Lantus would do without any help. Gus has an appointment with his new vet tomorow. I wanted to schedule a dental, but he wanted to see Gus first. New vet, first visit for Gus...should be interesting. I really hope this vet doesn't have the 'MD Syndrome" (Mighty Diety :lol: )

Hi Bev - what a nice cycle start tonight. It truly is so great to see these numbers.
You must becoming a R expert, or will be shortly. What a good decision that was for Gus.
