Looks like another trip to RBC, but I hope it will be a quick return. He did get some high blues last night, but when I checked Blackie at +10.5 this morning, he was 353. This am I shot a very fat 4, almost 4.25. I think I'm going to stick to 4.25 for several days and see if we can get some green. Blackie hasn't seen green since his birthday, more than a week ago.

WCR: Blackie is feeling fine - he's outside now sitting on the sidewalk. He's eating well and was very affectionate at each test yesterday.

Hey Blackie, What's going on? You're freaking out your mamabean! Com'on man, get with the program!! She's threatening you with a dosecrease!!

Stu

P.S. from Ella to Ele: We canoe, but a lot of the people here have both kayaks and canoes. We have solo pack canoes that we paddle with double paddles. We also have a traditional tandem canoe. We begin usually in mid April (as soon as ice is out) and continue into November. It's very cold then, and sometimes there is snow on the ground, but no one wants to stop paddling! The lakes and rivers here in the Adirondacks are varied and wonderful. Where do you paddle?

Blackie, what in the heck is going on? I sure wish I knew why RBC was so appealing, but hopefully his trip will be a short one. I guess he and Buzz must be there together, laughing it up and having a good ol' time.

P.S. from Sarah to Ella and Ele: Yay for canoeing! I used to take at least one trip every summer to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota/Canada. It's my favorite place on earth, although I haven't been in years. I bet both Colorado and the Adirondacks are gorgeous for paddling!

Re: 5/2 Blackie amps 370 +4 410

Ele, the Colorado River sounds challenging (we do mainly flat water, with occasional class 1). Sarah, we've always wanted to go to the Boundary Waters/Quetico. Almost made it one year and have all the maps. Our most exciting trip was 2 weeks on the Nigu River north of the Brooks Range in Alaska (in 1995). No rapids, but very fast-moving water: one day we went 26 miles in 2 hours!!! It was terrifying!

Oh... Blackie!!! What is going on....???? RBC isn't nice, don't take the scenic route!!!!

Ele, the superfat dose, that was 4.25 (+/- human error)? Just making sure we can distinguish between the fat and the fat ;-) .

A big sigh of relief. I hope he continues to come down. And yes, we are officially at 4.25, not just a fat 4. I enlarged and printed out the pics of the syringes in the newbie sticky to help me get the dose right.

Dear Blackie-

Please come home from RBC. Stu and I miss you, and you know how our beans get when we are out until all hours of the night, ESPECIALLY when we're in RBC. I don't know what they have against that place, but sheesh. Anyway, come on back so you can be sure you will get to go to Baby's party!

<3, Buzz
