Two in the pool and mom back to spring cleaning. Hopefully today I can manage not to break everything glass. Lol. Yesterday I first had a light bulb leave it's metal base in the fixture in the bathroom while cleaning those so had to stop go get a potato to get the metal out of the socket. Then went to clean the bedroom ceiling fan, got the glass shades down fine, got them washed fine but when I went to put them back up one falls on the bed. Just as I'm rejoicing that it didn't break I watch from the ladder as it slowly rolls off and shatters. Sigh. Whoever decided that it was a smart idea to attach glass shades by 3 tiny screws to something meant to hang from a ceiling is an idiot.

Oh well at least I got half the house done yesterday so I only have the living room and kitchen today. Since DH & I have an agreement...I don't touch the basement other than to do laundry. The basement is his domain and it's scared me since we were originally dating. I'll clean the garage before I'll step foot in his basement lol.

Well lookey at those synchronized swimmers this morning. Alska is being entertained from the sundeck.

So does a Tornado alert cause you to break your basement rule? My BF has a basement like that - I don't know how he gets around in all that stuff but whenever I need something odd - he can produce it from his basement, or make it in his basement, or bury it in his... no, no, that's not for public knowledge :lol:

Oh I'll go in the basement since that's where the home gym and laundry is and it's actually very clean but it's also where all his musical equipment is and I'm so not cleaning any of that!! I will clean the laundry room and occasionally the gym but I don't even breathe on his studio area. Lol

Yay... Max has some company in the pool today. So funny how close their numbers are sometimes. Yay for Spring cleaning or at least when it's over. I'm terrible. You all may remember that I got new bedroom furniture 2 months ago and did a big cleaning out project. Well, I have to admit, once the furniture got in the room, it looks great by the way, I stalled. I have piles of stuff in the hall that need to be gone through and put away or donated. Every Saturday something else comes up or at least I tell myself that.

Okay I have a confession. After 4 years of poking kitty ears and several lancing devices later...I finally discovered how easy it is to free hand it after stepping on my lancet device today lol
