Atlas is doing well. We have cold, wet, and rainy today ...so everyone ate and went btb except me. Set up for a very light week. But, bright side is I can keep a close eye on Attie. Pink bounce yesterday and not sure if it was from a low the night before as he was dropping and I gave him some NV Instinct Beef can. Supposed to be about 13% carb. Literally he got a tablespoon or less. He does love it though!

His raw rabbit didn't make the special order. The distributor was out of stock on it. So my limited choices were chicken, venison, bison($$) and beef. I bought the raw beef medallions and I had ordered the cans. There is a difference in carb% I am told. I also stumbled across some Primal Chicken/salmon raw trial packs. He really like that too, but I am approaching their use cautiously as the ingredient list is vastly different from NV. And NV actually has a pathogen free guarantee. NV really cleared up Atties chronic diarrhea.

Gary got to spend quite a few hours out of the den/foster room yesterday. I had just one client to deal with this weekend and had time to supervise the relations. He remains quite quite skittish, but his natural curiosity can tempt him out from under tables, chairs or the settee. He and Attie are able to pass each other without incident. Attie continues to set the tone with very loud purring and he is letting Gary get closer to him. Last night MudCat passed through the living room several times in front of Gary. On the second pass Gary crouched, butt wiggled, and started to tentatively sneak up behind her. I interrupted that move as she would have bolted a then been cornered in the master bedroom. If she would have made it to the family room...I would have cautiously let them go, but Gary is as athletic as she is. And I don't think she knows that ...yet. Plus they have not negotiated as intensely as Gary & Attie.

Last night as I laid down to sleep with the radio on and the announcement from the President...that I waited and waited and waited for... Attie got the kitty zoomies. He was running around the family room, jumping up on the settee, the bed, the fireplace hearth... and then he did something I had not seem him do...he scaled the tall cat tree! All the way up to the top level! Then he stretched up and knocked the curtain rod off it's bracket.

Hard to imagine just a year ago...he could not even jump up on a bed he was so bad off.

I could not be mad at him about the curtains....

what a wonderful report!
Sounds like Atlas is doing great and the inter mingling is also going wonderfully.

Hope you have a fab Monday

I think one of the highlights of my day was reading a similar entry on FB about Attie and the curtain rod. I am so happy to read about our kitties who are doing so much better than they were this time lat year. It is simply just the best. GO ATTIE - you rock dude!

Love the summit - sounds like negotiations are moving along well. I really think that eventually they will all be one happy group of kitties. I can remember reading about Gary and the outdoor quarters, his lodge, that he inhabited. At that time I never thought he'd be where he is today, Kudos to you and all you have done for him. What an awesome journey.

Great report, Beth. Those kitty negotiations are really neat to read about. They are getting somewhere with all their feints and counterfeints. You have great patience!!!
It's wonderful that Attie has gotten his climbing skills back.
Have a good night, see you tomorrow,

Ella & Rusty
