Good morning LL!

SO! Zo Bear Extraordinaire has decided to throw the highest number he's had in a week on Day 1 of his OTJ Trial! I am wondering if I should even start the trial today with that number?? I didn't give any insulin as it is still a normal number, but just! I think he's being cheeky!! Not a good start.......... Might be his way of saying he's not ready though... Arg... confused_cat
Today is Zoey's two months since diagnosis! 7 1/2 weeks of being on Lantus! Regardless if this trial works or not, I'm still so appreciative of all the help and still so pleased with where Zoey is after just two months thanks to everyone on here!!! The vet wanted to put him on oral medication, which I'm sure he'd be taking long term, until it stopped working in which case he would need insulin anyways! Thanks to all the advice, I decided to go with insulin right off the bat (against my vets wishes :? ) since his chances of remission were much better that way!!! And I'm so glad I did!! His progress wouldn't have been possible on an oral medication and he wouldn't be as healthy or happy!! You are all a blessing and I am grateful every day for everyone's help!!!!!
I will do a test at +3 to see where he is and hopefully continue the trial, unless I'm advised otherwise, in which case, we will wait to try again another day! Paws cross and a million anti-jinxes that Zo's numbers improve!
I hope everyone has a fabulous Sunday!!! Healing vines to those in need, and normal appy vines to Zener after the little med-swap last night!!
