Good morning from cloudy Sydney.

Sheba had a good surf overnight in green numbers. :D
She did have a bit of a food spike after PMPS but that is normal for her, especially if the preshot is on the low side but I did not have to give her anything to control the drop back down, which is good. She seems to be managing that a bit better herself. Maybe her body is adjusting???? That would be great if it is.

Otherwise she seems well. She is enjoying our new gas fire, which is so much more efficient than the last one. Her place is right in front of it.

Sheba loves those warm waters and warm fires. Can't say I blame her. Pretty cozy places to be so hopefully her body is getting used to the idea and she'll spend some more time there; wouldn't that be great?!

Healing vines and wishes for Sheba doing backstrokes in the lagoon again!

Sure would be wonderful if Sheba's body was getting more stable! You've had a hard time of it with her dives and bounces!

I have to giggle at the fireplace....my first thought was "why would you have a fire going?...It's summer!!".....but then I remember you're on the other side of the globe and are entering winter!!

Keep up the great numbers, Sheba!! They're so nice to see on you!!

+3 184
I am really pleased with that food spike......just a small one for Sheba.....that should mean that she will drop back down when the insulin kicks in at +3.5

Yes Chris and Pat we are heading into winter down here......not cold by your standards.......but getting cold by ours:joyful::joyful::joyful:

Sheba, the LagoonMeister is proud of you. Keep those green surfs going.

Here in the mountains we often have fires in the spring, and even in the summer. I remember one 4th of July when the high temperature was 34 degrees Fahrenheit!

That's one thing I miss most in these higher temperatures we are having here, the fireplace! My cats all enjoy it, too. Looking good Sheba! Maybe I need to look into giving Bud honey... ;)

+6 81
I have to leave in half hour to do the school pick up run which will take one and a half to 2 hours, so I have given Sheba a teaspoon of medium carb to stop her going any lower. On previous form she would drop to the 50s in a couple of hours time and I won't be back until 3 hours from now. Hated doing it but I need to keep her safe.

Be good Sheba - those 80's are a great place to hang out!

Do you have an autofeeder? When you have to be away they can be a great help by doling out food every hour or so.

I grabbed a quick test before I walked out the door half an hour after giving her the med carb and she had dropped further to 70 so I gave her some high carb. When I got home she was fine and her +9 was 122. I was sorry I stuffed up her surfing but I know she would have kept dropping if I didn't give her the high carb and sometimes I get caught up in traffic and get home later.
@Wendy&Neko
Yes I do have an auto feeder which I use every night but it didn't cross my mind to use it for that:banghead::banghead::banghead:
It would be perfect for that. If she does the same tomorrow I will use it. Thanks!

Thanks Suki, Carla, Chris, Ella, Elise, Wendy, Stacey, Pat, Voula and Rose for visiting and cheering Sheba on. I really appreciate it.
It is so good to finally see some good numbers that are lasting more than a day and that are not ending in a bounce. Oops...I probably shouldn't even say that word.

Nice PMPS too of 115
