Re: 5/19 Rupert AMPS 451,+3 225,+6.5 111

Rupie hit the blues, slowed down between +3 and +6.5 which is good. I kept an eye on him but didn't keep poking.I'm beginning to get a handle on when to panic and when not to panic, and I'm finding that he is the best judge. The times that he's become really super fast diving and low he comes and gets me and demands food. Smart boy. Today he seems quite happy, he's had a nice snack of Turducken for lunch, didn't seem at all thirsty and has headed back to his 'management position' on the deck. The Merrick Turducken is 9% carbs.... slightly higher than I use for 'normal' food for him. Am experimenting to see if he's the type that actually needs a slightly higher carb.. maybe it will slow him down? if it slowed him down this morning goodness knows WHERE he'd have gone if I'd just given him the EVO with practically 0% carbs. Still experimenting/learning here. He's been sitting on the deck supervising all garden and horse riding activities and looking quite buff and happy with himself now.
In general, I'm delighted with how happy, shiny, bossy and sleek he's looking lately. Despite the hidouesly high numbers he seems to be like he was four or five years ago so I have to listen to 'the cat' and not stress about the numbers. NOW, if we could just get HIM to come down even to high blues on a consistent basis it would be great. I have a feeling he may be a cat that likes the blues better than the greens. Guess time will tell.
Back to cleaning up my messy tack room today! Rojo will get ridden tonight (hoping hubby will hop on again.. it's a slow patient path I'm having to take!!) will attempt to get some 'stealth' pics!!!
