Someone's feeling much better. He moved all the way to green at +2. :D

Earned himself a spoon of MC and another automatic reduction.

This cat is full of surprises...
 
Hot diggity dog is right! :D

He's gonna get his 6th reduction in 10 days. I think he's finally getting the hang of Lantus. :cat:

It's funny when they hit a certain dose and the just "snap" This was just starting the 5th cycle with this dose so it should be full. You'll know if the reduction tonight is too soon. Good luck and keep up the good work, Rudy. :D

After your comment the other day - I'm scared to shoot through a bounce if he has one tonight. I'm 99% positive he's taking the reduction with dinner.

I didn't mean to scare you with that comment. It was more a "heads up" sort of comment to know that they can be done with " shooting through the bounce". I don't think you have done it much so don't worry just be aware. And with as much as you test, it won't be an issue because you'll catch it and he usually responds well to higher carbs. :cat:
 
Congrats on the reduction, it's great to see Rudy do so well. :D I think Rudy is starting to clear bounces fairly quickly now and shooting through the bounce could be put on the back burner.

BTW, on the SS, evening of the 16th, you might have been a bit generous with the green paint brush. ;)
 
Congratulations! I think Rudy noticed what Rex did and wants to get himself off the insulin asap. ;) Hopefully Rudy will take it a little slower so you can still get your sleep!

I think the jury has spoken - he's moving down to 3.5 units tonight. He's a champion bounce clearer at this point. Plus, a maximum of 5 cycles at a particular dose then a decrease seems to be his pattern for the last 2 weeks. He should be fine with a reduction.

And I fixed the ss for the evening of the 16th. I did get a little too happy with the green. Nice catch on that, Wendy. :)
 
Rudy took his reduction this evening. Paes crossed that the beautiful string of numbers continues tonight. :cat:

I ran out of room on the post title line, so here are his daytime readings:

AMPS 207, +2 78, +3 52, +3.5 65, +4 74, +6.5 89, +8 120, +11 162
 
Nice surf today and hopefully he won't bounce up to much.

When you run out of room on the title, you can remove some of the earlier AM numbers to give yourself room. He is looking so good. :)
