Yesterday was a relatively shallow inverted day curve to a nice blue PM start and flat blue the entire night! :-D :-D

And we got a lovely blue start this morning. Then that darn daytime inverted curve started, for the 26th day in a row. ohmygod_smile And she celebrated in style. grr_red Darn that red floor. We haven't seen that for about a month. Neko sure knows how to raise and dash my hopes. I could tell something (or somebody) was up. Neko was particularly attentive in the kitchen for her +3 meal, lying on the floor in front of the fridge. I guess it was too much to hope she was going low. I think she hit the mountain peak and is winding her way down now. She had a good yard patrol after first breffs and she's back out in the solarium settled into her basket.

It's a cloudy day but supposed to lighten up and get sunny. I've got to get out and fill up the hummingbird feeder, those sugarbirds are hungry.

So frustrating, right? Ugh. And nice to know she's having a wonderful day in the solarium, spoiled rotten things! :lol:

BTW - your 2013 SS is protected and says I need to request access. I forget where the controls are, but you need to share with anyone who has a link.

Neko, please slide on down and show your MomBean you can do it. The solarium sounds nice, and glad Neko is doing well otherwise. How nice you feed the Hummingbirds.

Neko... you are being as confusing as mine....

I haven't decided yet if I want to start with the hummingbirds this year.... they get too demanding.... :lol:

Sorry Wendy, I know how frustrating those icky numbers are. Boy..do I know!
Try not to worry, Neko will be down soon enough :smile:

Whew - who thought I'd be glad to see pink. :lol: On the plus side, I started getting some of the trim on our new windows painted.

@Lisa - Neko never listens to me, maybe she'll listen to you. :lol: Thanks on the new SS, I think I've got it fixed now. Been a while since I created one. With the World version of the SS you can't just add new tabs for new years.

@Liz - She's joined Zener in Pinksville.

@Ann - Sliding has lately be reserved for the evening. I love the sound of hummingbirds in the garden.

@Rhiannon - Now if only she could go back down that fast. No wait, maybe that's a bad idea. :lol: My parents have two large feeders going and usually have to refill every few days. Normally once a week is OK for me, but right now it's once every couple of days. Must be baby time. :-D

Rusty likes to do those inverted curves lately, too, but he doesn't go to the extremes that Neko does! (Thank goodness!)

We're still waiting for the hummingbirds to arrive. I got a new feeder for Xmas, one that is actually easy to clean, and am eager to try it out. I love those little dive bombers!

@Barb - Missed you there. The nice thing about LL is there's always someone who is feeling the same pain you are. :roll: And I'd bet a reasonable amount she'll come down tonight. :lol:

@Ella - We have both Anna's (overwintered) and Rufous (show up mid March). I (and Neko) love watching them. I've got a special brush for cleaning the feeder so it's pretty easy. I've heard inverted curves can mean either too much or too little insulin. Not sure with Neko, maybe it's just a confusion tactic. :lol: I got on the water on Friday and took yesterday off to recover. It's a holiday on Monday so next row is Wednesday.

Thanks for the link to the Knee Knacker race. :-D :-D I want to do it! But I don't think I'll be able to train for it. :sad:

Sigh, hoping for the high before the break or little miss will be getting a little something extra soon.

@Liz - There is a lottery for the race and it's too late to enter. But I thought you'd be interested in a nice long gnarly race. :lol: Especially after that one you did up the mountain. One of the supply stations for the KK race is just a few minutes walk from our house. I've walked and biked parts of the race route close to us.

At least Neko is going high at night. :roll: :-D You should be able to get more sleep tonight, Wendy. There is a Flagstaff 50 race (50 km or 50 miles, your choice). It goes from 7000' to 9000' three times. I'd like to do it but I don't think I can manage it. I might try running parts of it this summer.
