Well after two days ago and everytime I tested her I was getting a falling number except briefly after she would eat..I decided not to give her a shot until I had a consistant rising number because I kind of suspected that she was rebounding off even the mere microdose of .2u.
Finally yesterday she gave me a couple rising numbers in a row so I went ahead and gave her a tiny .1u for both her am and pm shots....then I awake today to a lovely 64 and she hasn't touched a blue number yet..she raises slightly after eating and then drops right back down on her own a few hours later...so at this point I think I'm going to hold with only shooting as needed for her and see if I have an possible diet controlled kitty.
The only concerning part of this is while she is eating she doesn't seem to have her usual gusto but then again it is extremely hot and humid here and no one is truly eating with their normal gusto either. Everyone has taken to just kind of grazing rather than seeing if they can devour their bowls in 3.25 seconds. Also being in the green numbers all day today could also be why she isn't ravenous by the mealtime as opposed to where she has been for so long in the 200-300s.
We are suppose to get some storms later this evening which is suppose to also cool us off some, so I guess I'll just have to watch her close and see if this is just a new pattern for her, or if perhaps she isn't feeling well for one reason or another...but other than the now grazing rather than being ravenous she is acting like her normal self...with 4 of the 5 Ps in place, she's purring, peeing, pooing, & preening...and well playing is just something she never has done a lot of, she will occasionally get a wild hair and chase a toy around but normally she is kind of just a laying on the furniture and be adored kind a girl. So not being terribly active isn't really out of the norm for her, and again no one is really active right now in 90 degree heat and 60% humidity. Even the young'un have pretty much been lumps of fur in front of the air conditioner vents.
