Morning, and I believe I did a fur shot last night. I didn't feel a needle slight pop sound as I withrew the syringe. Or maybe it wasn't a fur shot, and she's just a bit high because of her teeth. She seems more lively this morning wanting to play with her pole toy. It seems some days she sleeps all day, but then again she is a cat and 12 years old. All P's in place this morning. I get my hair trimmed and all prettied up today, so will be gone mid morning, but I have her shot early enough that I can get a couple pokes in before leaving. There is a PetsMart near the salon, so I think I will stop and get some changes of FF for Mags. I have her just on FF Seafood Feast, and I've heard some of you say not to keep them too long on the fishy flavors. She doesn't seem to like FF Beef, so I'll try FF Chicken Feast. Do any of you know of an updated food chart with the carbs content and calories? Hope everyone has a nice day.

Yes, fish flavours too often can cause problems because of the ash. Good luck finding a flavour she likes.

Maggie came down nicely to 140, and I'm sorry I have to leave and may miss some nice numbers. I can do another out the door check, but I doubt she will see a green.

Iorwen, thanks for the info on the ash in the fishy flavors that's not good for them. It's always a challenge finding something she likes, except for the fishy flavors.

Good morning Ann and Maggie! Good luck on the new FF flavors. I am going to be doing that this weekend. Tarragon is getting tired of the plain old chicken and turkey. He loves the seafood, but I worry about giving him too much and I think it might add to his diarrhea issues. He doesn't like the beef at all. Luckily, Turnup will eat anything, so she just rolls with the punches and gets his leftovers.

Have a great time at the salon. You deserve a little pampering!

Gee, I'm glad i got another check. She's not eating much right now, so I suspect that may be why she's going low. I'll leave plenty of food and probably some mc to be safe. She always self feeds when low as I notice when I'm home.

I am surprised by this number, as I expected a rise! She may have dropped even lower while I was gone! She ate quite a bit of the FF Seafood which I left. I ended up not leaving any mc fuds. She will probably bounce at the pm bg reading. I picked up some FF Chicken Feast, FF Beef & Chicken Feast, and Liver & Chicken Feast, but today I don't want to rock the boat with her nice numbers! Sienne, I'm so glad you advised not to change the dose until we see how she does after the dental. She seems to be feeling good talking away and asking for a brushing.

Hi Melissa, I was surprised by the drop. I have a feeling she dropped lower after the +4 and then came back up by eating! Yes, it was a really nice day to get out - the sun was in and out but no rain. Hope you and Tarragon had a nice day, but I know terrible weather.

Another surprise - I expected Maggie to rise to the low 200's, as she has been in the past. Not sure what is causing these nice numbers today, but I really like it! It sure doesn't work to second guess what they will do!

Maggie is continuing with the surf. This is with barely any insulin, a drop or two. I bet we see a bounce tomorrow morning.
Thanks Barb, yes, it was fun getting my hair done today. I love the area. There is a PetsMart and some nice stores nearby. I treated myself to a Chick-a-Filet sandwich. I think they are real popular in the south

Hi guys! nice numbers for Maggie today. Quite the drop, but a welcome one I am sure. I think it is a wise move to wait until after the dental for any dose adjustments.

I hope Maggie likes the new food selections. :-D :-D :-D Eat up Maggie - they are god for you!

It sounds like you had a nice day out - good for you! It is important I think to teat ourselves once in a while. Time out for the beans!

Hi Michelle, not to worry as you've got so much going on with DGS. Yes, I've got some different choices FF for Missy Maggie but will wait til tomorrow to try. She's having too nice a day. It was really nice today getting out and doing something nice for myself, and I should do it more often.

I hope Maggie likes the new FF, you just can't beat FF according to Leo, especially the "good" elegant medleys.....have you smelled them? Almost makes me want to eat it!! :lol:

Hi Tracy, yes, I just bought some of the chicken elegant medleys. I don't know why i never tried them before - no by products either!

I didn't know Elegant Medleys came in LC. I'll check those out. I think they're more expensive, but on days that Checks just turns his nose up at everything, it would be worth the cost, if he likes one of the flavors.

Hi Barb,
I just checked my new stock which I bought yesterday, and I didn't buy the "Elegant Medleys" - I bought the Fancy Feast Appetizers" - White Meat Chicken Appetizer, in a delicate broth. I was reading the contents, and it stated "Prepared without by-products or fillers". I'm not sure of the carb content, but will check FF website. I'll post this on your Friday condo today in case you don't see it. Sorry for the confusion
