Morning ~O) all is well with Mags this Sunday with all five "P's" and yes, Mags had some really nice prezzies last night. Good news for Detective Poo's rounds! She also let me sleep thru the night, and I even got up before her. I had intended on getting up and getting another check, as Mags had a 68 at the pm +3, but she had a big helping of Cowboy Cookout immediately, so I knew she would bring herself up okay. She also did a CPC of her overnight fuds.

No out of the box pee accident since Thursday Vetty visit! Hmmmm...wonder what's up with that one. I think she knows that's the reason I took her to Vetty as I did suspect an infection, but all was normal, thankfully! I may try some "Cat Attract Litter," as I am about ready for a new bag anyway. Anyone here tried it?
Looking forward to Elsa kitteh Lil Bit Barista's coffee and Espresso today.

Yay on the nice prezzies last night. That's great that Maggie will eat when she is low and bring herself up. Nice that you got a good night's sleep and got up before Maggie.

Mags made it to the Green Lagoon and let's hope she stays longer today.

Thanks Carla on the prezzies. I am so lucky in that Mags will eat when low and is also carb sensitive.

Lookin' good in the lagoon, Mags! Yes, Maggie did read her condo and know what her vetty visit was all about! Fingers crossed she keeps that tushy inside the box! Hooray for prezzies, too!

WOO HOO!!! Look at Maggie go, off to the lagoon! green 'kini time Maggie. I saw, and sure did like, that 66 last night, it is so nice to know the fuds,and what will ensure a good PM surf. I think it's great that Maggie sticks with what works with her. so so cool! :-D

YAY!!! Prezzies! Very nice too on the no out of LB pee incidents. I wonder why that was... sometime mine would do that, especially Mannie, and I often wondered why. More often than not, for him, it was one too many lumps in the LB. Did you get a new box, or is this the same one? well, just glad her that is seems to have been an isolated incident(s). I haven't tried that litter... I have the Breeze system here, as well as the normal clumpong clay stuff, and the WBC litter. Sure would like to get the all into the breeze - so much easier to maintain and clean. Good luck with your efforts!

That's a nice +4 Maggie! I have sprinkled some on my regular litter and it seemed to be good....

ETA: Not sure what is going on at your place and if you have actually SEEN her going outside her box. I have had Raja in for UTI check ups in the past because of puddles outside the LB too. However, I have been watching my two closely and noticed that both have sometimes been too close to the edge and have tinkled over the rim of the box. The culpirit is mainly Shadow but I have seen Raja do that at times too.
Shadow doesn't seem to squat enough. (males like to spray anyway, don't they??)

Maybe they are having old age pains when trying to squat low. I dunno. But I have put oven liners on the sides of the LBs in an effort to keep things dryer. I have neswspapers under the boxes now too.
All these past years I thought it was Raja being a prissy pain and urinating outside the box "just because". Or, I thought maybe she had an infection at times too.
Shadow never deliverately did anything spiteful like that.....and I am sorry to say that I believed Raja was being spiteful at times and now I am thinking that maybe she wasn't....!!!
But now I see that maybe they are both just having "accidents".

I think I may have missed some greens, as I was down the walkway doing the laundry thing. I crossed paths with some nice neighbors I hadn't seen lately, too. We'll just give Mags the greens while I was gone. She was sitting up on her bed waiting for lunch. :-D She did have some food on a plate in bed, but wanted fresh. :lol:

Thanks Amy, I hope, too, Mags keeps her tushy in the box, so far so good the past few days. I wonder if during those times her arthritis was bothering her.

Michelle, thanks on Mags. She does love her green kini. Yes, I try and stay with the foods she likes and agrees with the phosphorus, too, with her ckd. So far she still likes the Cowboy Cookout and the Wellness Turkey when I can find the firm texture cans.
Elsa, thank you for my delivery today and lad the GPS helped you find me, as we are hidden on a back street. The coffee and Triple Espressos were the best. Lots of hugs, Auntie Ann

Hi Pat, thanks for your thoughts. Yes, that's it exactly when 've caught Mags. She was in the box, however, but so close to the entry way that she just pee'ed over the rim. It's a nice low entry and easy for her to enter. I'm thinking, too, it was just hard for her to squat. She does have arthritis and just turned 14 in January. She has Megacolon and may have also been constipated at the time. She's also on SubQ and has big pee clumps. I took her to the Vet suspecting a UTI, but all was normal. It was the best money I spent to learn she's okay as I mentioned earlier. I would bet anything Raja and Shadow were just having accidents, too.

Hi Ann - I was going to suggest the same thing as Pat. We have that problem occasionally, but sometimes with the poops too. We thought we had a behavior problem with Molly, but it turns out that as she moves in circles digging holes in there, that she gets backed up to the door and sometimes poops out the door :oops: Poor little girl! She's 14 so there may be some aging in there too.

Nice Green-tini there, Miss Mags! Just work it until tonight and take another dip in the pool, okay?

We're back up to yellow. Mags was munching on some Wellness Turkey, so I suspect this is a bit of a food spike. With her CKD, I hate to deny her when she's hungry, and she never spikes too over the top. More important for her to eat at times.

Detective Poo, you sure do deserve a promotion :lol: :lol: both Mags and Zener today. I'll co check on Zener's prize.

Barb Checkers, thanks for your visit. Just a lazy Sunday here, too, not too much excitement.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your telling of your experience with Molly. I'm sure now that's what's been happening with Mags. Yes, definitely with the aging, too.

Hi Ann. Maggie had some nice numbers today. Glad to hear she hasn't gone outside the LB since her vet visit. We have our fingers crossed she continues hitting the LB.
