Good morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday's Dance

Awww...look at my big pink toad kitty - yesterday's GREENS and BLUES were much prettier.... He did sort of hit the shallow rocky end of the greens but guess he didn't hit his head.
Today we send a HUGE HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to Schniggles new 'Grams' - Liz (Zener) has a 'grand-dog-hter'! The mailman delivered this innocent looking little envelope....inside was payment for Schniggles vet bills and more good food! I'm still just speechless and appreciate it more than words can describe. Schniggles has regained strength, her muscles are rebuilding strong and correctly, she can even control that 20" tongue well! She 'wags' her tail every time we look at her - it's really funny looking as the part from her body down about 3" of the tail has nothing but skin and fat inside, the 'tail' then has a little kink at the end. All you see is this little twitch of the kink but the rest of her body says she's wagging it 900 mph.
Need thoughts/prayers still for BlueBoy drooler. For those that don't visit us regularly, 'Blue' is a Blue Heeler/Husky mix that was dumped here about 5 months ago as about a 6-8 week old pup. Our 'poor' neighbor adopted him and loves him to pieces. She can't afford to do much for him, she keeps hard food and water out, we feed him morning/evening a pan of good soft food when we feed all of ours. He needed ear mite meds, she saved from two checks just to afford that little bit but she showed us she was willing to 'do' the best she could for him. The last 2 weeks, he'd quit eating much, quit drinking and just didn't feel well...then it got worse..and worse...yesterday morning we went over to find her holding him sitting in her front yard in complete tears breakdown. He was too weak to walk more than a couple of feet - she said "All I can do is sit and hold him until he's gone". NOPE, NOT gonna happen on OUR watch!!!! We scooped him up, I took him to vet...to get the terrible diagnosis of Parvo. I emptied my 'new sink' derby winnings plus a bit of the 'emergency fund' and paid for treatment - we left him at ER. I helped them get his IV started, get him settled in isolation and left him with one of my T-shirts. I called this morning - he's up, tail wagging and feeling much stronger. He still hasn't eaten so they started another IV this morning but they feel he's passed the critical point and should come home Monday. Neighbor is over there bleaching her whole house, yard and even the fences. She's thrown away all his toys, rugs, bedding - other 2 neighbors are out right now getting new bedding and toys for him altho' everyone knows we'll have to throw them away several times over the next 3 weeks. Can you tell we ALL love this boy? Yep, he's definitely worth it....my old sink will still work....won't be pretty but 'my' BlueBoy is prettier than any ole sink...
All our fuzzy feet are doing wonderful today! Harley's (lymphoma drooler) feeling well altho' he's hitting the water awfully hard again. Scruffy (CHF kitty) is sleeping more but still seems to feel well when he's awake. Lacey (CHF drooler) is coughing more - I am increasing her lasix by a bit to help keep the fluid out of her chest. Spring pollen is wrecking havoc with Snow's asthma, so far albuterol has been able to keep him comfortable without adding the prednisone.
HUGS to all that visit today!!!!
