I don't know if it was increasing his dose to 1.75, but my little guy shot up 300 points in four hours. Four hours ago he was a nice 161, and now he's 476? And I measured three times since I didn't believe it (one measurement was 566 even). Is this a bounce? He did eat after I measured it at +8, so some of it will be food related
 
I don't have any knowledge with Levemir, unfortunately. He COULD be bouncing, and if so, I hope that he clears it quickly, and gives you a lovely surf. Try and have a good day.
 
Hi guys ..wow, that's quite the spike in just a few hours! I don't have any advice on what could have caused that but I sure hope heart brings it back down!
 
i'd guess bounce. there's also the possibility of New Dose Wonkiness in the first day after a dose increase. There's a link explaining these on the New to the Group sticky, last section with links at the bottom of the page. Look for "NDW"
 
My vote's on a bounce too. Since Levemir usually has a later nadir, it's also possible he went lower than the 161 you caught last night

Add in the possibility of NDW and I think you're just going to have to hold on for the ride and wait it out.

Come on Heart...a nice gentle surf is all we ask!
