5/19 Evey AMPS 106 PMPS 101

Happy Sunday~ I didn't post her BG in the couple days and I feel like I'm making up homework now. LOL.

At AMPS, the Libre showed her BG was at 8.2 (146) which was a lot higher than in the last couple days. So I tested her with a handheld meter. The meter result was 106 while libre was 148. The difference between the two devices were huge. It's the same for her PMPS BG number. The handheld meter was 101 while Libre was 153. I asked the Libre customer service what went wrong. The customer service agent said during the first 24 hours of installing the libre, it might not be very accurate. It takes a couple days to be more accurate. I still filled out the SS with the libre numbers. Those data probably don't mean much.

We've seen plenty of cases where the Libre tested off compared to the hand held, especially in lower numbers, though usually it's the Libre that is lower. And also heard the first 24 hours aren't to be trusted.

Thanks for the heads up. It's really good that her handheld numbers are still within a good range.
