Chuck continues to confuse me! He's been dropping all day, just started back up a couple of hours ago. I gave him 1/2U 14 hours after his last shot, just because he was rising, although a change of just under 20 in 90 minutes isn't a huge rise.
AMPS -- 406 -- 1U and feed
+2 -- 326 -- mini-meal
+4 -- 333
+7 -- 302
+11.5 -- 233
+13 -- 229
+14.5 -- 246 -- 1/2U
This looks like nadir is +13, which is totally screwy...
Does anybody have any idea what's going on with him? This is so frustrating -- one day, he has to have insulin every 4 hours (1/2 unit- 1U), and another day, he doesn't need any insulin. I'm beginning to think he's really not out of remission, but something is going on that's playing havoc with his BG.
The vet drew blood last week for a TLI and a senior panel, just to double-triple check to be sure nothing has been overlooked. The TLI had to be sent out, likely to Texas A&M, because that's who they've been consulting with about Chuck.
