Well with the NS yesterday I knew this morning would be high. Reduced him to 1.5, and figured today would just be a high day. PMPS was a nice surprise. Just tested him quick before his PM meal and WHAT
And of course this is just as the emergency plumber shows up since for some reason all the drains in our house are backing up for no reason. So I stay calm, give him his evening meal and 3 of his old temptations treats (high carb but he goes stupid for them) took him about 15 minutes to lick his bowl clean and had him come up on the couch with me so I could see if anything was off.
No symptoms of hypo, he fought me like hell an hour and a half ago when I clipped his claws. At +6.5 he is up to 48. Going to test him again in about 5 mins which will be +6.75. He hid under the couch but I think that has to do with a stranger in the house and all the power tools being used on the pipes (looks like something got installed wrong with the pipework and it just took 2 months of living here before it reared the ugly consequences)
Not gonna lie, I'm scared. But the fact he has no symptoms and ate well gives me some ease.

Cats off of insulin can be in the 40's, so he might not show signs there. We just don't want cats on insulin to be that low to give a little margin of safety.
