Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a beautiful, cold (35 degrees), sunny morning in the mountains and looks to be a grand day. Rusty had a good night snuggling between his beans and this morning has had a good routine. He enjoyed his "lung treat" (for the past 2 days he has walked away from it, but I opened a new bottle of babyfood this morning and I guess that made the difference). At present he's sleeping in his little bed by the radiator (which is ON this morning--can't believe we have the heat on in late May!). It looks like the LagoonMeister may be in the lagoon soon.

Today we are going to put protectant on our canoes, do some yard work, take a walk, and I am going to take a short ride on one of my bikes. Tomorrow we are leading a paddle for the mountain club's local chapter. Weather looks good (so far).

Gorgeous start for Rusty! Nuthin' like fresh baby food to get one's attention!!

I had to turn the heat on this morning, too....hopefully for the last time until fall! Enjoy the beautiful weather, Ella!

Thanks for asking about the transition. Compared to Chicago, Columbus is a small town! I also use my car far more than I ever did in Chicago although, I'm not entire sure if because parking is so much easier! I HATE getting up for a work day that starts at 8:00. I'm accommodating and the kitties' internal alarm clocks seem to have adjusted to a 5:00 wake up time. (Food is such a good reinforcement for these guys!) As much of what I'm doing on the job, I really like. (I have to wait for credentialing through the med center to be completed before I can bill for any clinical work.) The admin piece is what I'm focusing on. The people are lovely. There are some glitchy things but there's nothing that's insurmountable.

WOO HOO! Look at that amps. I too bet that the lagoon meister will be on duty shortly. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Rusty!

I cannot believe that it is 35 these this morning. COLD! and your heat is on.... :shock: YAY though for sunny morning. We are here now to. I went for a very early first light beach walk this morning, the clouds were plentiful, but have since cleared. We too are looking at a very nice day. Wonderful that the rains have not shown. yet.

Your day sounds like a good one. I too hope to get out in the yard some, as it really needs it! Good luck today with all your projects and "to do's". I hope your weather will old so that you have a great paddle tomorrow.

Enjoy! I hope all goes well. Have a great walk today too.

I hope Rusty got to put on his LagoonMeister crown. It was 50 F here this morning and the heat did not come on. :-D

Hi again,
Rusty decided to really get into the lagoon! But he brought himself up after that 44. He enjoyed a good sleep this afternoon and this evening is waiting for us to come down to watch TV. It's his favorite time of day.
I hope everyone had a good day. I got everything done that I wanted to!!

Awesome day for Rusty! I love it that he watched TV with you. Very cool. Elsa and Bug may spend some time with us, but not for long. As I remember, Rusty likes sports?

Have a great eventing! How cool that you completed your to do list. :-D

Have a great evening watching TV. Kitties here always hover around after dinner hoping we are going to make long laps too. Enjoy the paddle tomorrow.

Hey, Ella -

Looks like Rusty had a nice day! Heat on in May, sounds crazy. We're currently in the mtns of NC to celebrate our anniversary tomorrow; we have the gas logs AND the heat on! I just read the weather page and see my son is enjoying a 60 degree night at home, while it's 40 here. Doug keeps trying to convince me to get in the hot tub, but I'm not so sure!

Hope y'all have great weather for tomorrow's and paddle and that you have lots of fun!

Rusty had a busy day, and looks like he went back to the lagoon tonight. I'm sure he was just there to check on the other kitties, right? And then he got back up on shore to snooze the night away? ;-) I hope he surfed safely for you, Ella.
