Down from 2.5 U to 2.25 U this morning. So far, so good!!!!;)

All's good in Pollywood. We're still waiting for shoes to drop, but so far so good. And we just keep plugging along.

All enjoyed a btb this morning. Will went off to daycare; the girls settled in their respective napping spots, and the ol'lady crept off to work. Lost my voice sometime between sleep last night and awake today. Easy to convince my boss (who just got back from two weeks in Europe) that I was sick last week and still a little too wasted to put in my full day (which is a half day) yet.

But the joyful news. Other than Polly's incredibly dropping dose and great healing numbers.....

His name is Fuzzy. He's 15. He's a Persian mix of sorts. An owner surrender at the local vet when the owner could no longer afford his treatment, a returning growth on his tail required "burn offs" regularly. Best Friends took him, biopsied the growth. Found cancer. Planned to remove his tail and find him a home. Well, just discovered that he has spots in his lungs, too. So....he's coming to our house under the "quality of life" program. A hospice foster.

Sweet, sweet old man. Adorable in his recent lion cut. Quietly confident and curious. I am so excited to have him home...for however long he's got. Gotta get busy and get the office ready for his initial intro to our house. I think Polly's going to like him.

BBL to visit condos....

Vines and wishes.

Marilyn and Polly (who knows something's up; lots of grooming today...got to look her best for the new boy)

Congrats on the reduction! You are amazing to take on Fuzzy. He is so lucky to be able to live out his days with such a caring person.

You are such a kind and beautiful person to take Fizzy home.
He is a lucky boy. I'm sure providing a hospice care is a very rewarding experience, but at the same time a very hard one.
I really admire your courage and kindness.

Polly's looking great!!!!

Marilyn, you are a kind and wonderful bean to take on Fuzzy, what a lucky boy he is to see out his days with your family. Polly, a gal's gotta look her best for introductions.

Congrats on the reducie. You have such a big heart to take on Fuzzy. He's lucky to have a loving home for however long he has left. :):)

Polly is looking super. :):) When we were on the SRT trail going down, at one point we stuck at the same dose for 3 months before continuing down. The folks at SRT told me it could take up to 2 years to see the full effect. I've seen elsewhere it can take up to 3 years. Just keep on plugging and follow where Polly leads you.

I think Fuzzy has just landed in the proverbial tub of better. Best place to be for what time he has. :bighug: Sending tons of vines for him, and some for your voice too.

aw, Fuzzy sounds like a sweetheart. I'm glad he's got a nice hospice home to spend his time - and you're about the best kitty nurse ever!

Polly does look super. :D:D:D:D green even after a reduction. that's :)

Marilyn, you are a princess among women, a beanstalk among beans, an absolute saint with a heart of gold and an iron constitution. I am made of much weaker stuff. I could not bear the heartache of taking on a kitty that had a death sentence over his head and growing to love him and then lose him. How lucky he is that you found him. I already liked and admired you for your care of Polly and your witty posts, but you have earned my undying respect and admiration now.

I am also delighted to see Polly's progress. That is joyful, as well. :D

Sending healing vines for your throat (assuming you want to be better and therefore able to return to tbp).

Marilyn,
It gladdens my heart to hear of stories like yours and Fuzzys. He is one lucky old fellow! And you are one special lady!
I hope he and Polly get on well.
