I think Leroy likes the tree too much - he slept on it last night instead of on the bed :lol: Well, I assume he did. I rolled over in bed and hit a solid non-talkative lump and knew that I was missing a cat :lol: I figured he had to be in the tree. When I left this morning, both were lounging in the tree, Emma in the tunnel and Leroy on the perch just above it.

I didn't pop in much yesterday - read posts but no responses. I knew they'd use the tree. They look like they love it.

Great story about the new cat tree!

Here's an interesting story everyone here will like to hear, since it involves ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)

A report today in one of the medical journals (reported on National Public Radio this morning) says that men who drink 6 cups of coffee a day get prostate cancer 50% less often than men who do not drink coffee. Even 3 cups a day is a plus. Furthermore, it doesn't matter if it is caf or decaf: the benefit is in the coffee itself. The same report said that drinking a lot of coffee helps women avoid the most aggressive type of breast cancer.

Good news for us coffee drinkers!!

Rocket seems to be doing ok....though for the first time in a while he did not wake me up at 4 am....so something is up....hope he slept thru that time but will keep a close eye on him....i guess when they get into their routines and when they stop doing something the anthenas go up.....hope it is nothing...
 
i hope it's the caffeine that's good and not just the coffee beans. i'm a diet dr pepper drinker, which is no doubt full of all kinds of carcinogins. i am hooked on it, though.

it is so incredibly beautiful here! just stunning - sun is out, birds & squirrels are on the deck. it's just lovely - and it's past 60 degrees so that's even better!
 
Hi, I don't have a cat tree right now, but I remember my GA kitty just loved it. It's so cute that Leroy loves it so much he sleeps in it.

Ella, I just read about the caffeine and cancer this morning. That's amazing. I love coffee and probably drink about five cups/day.

Sending vines and prayers for Butthead. I hope it's nothing with Rocket about not getting a wake-up call. I don't always get one from Maggie lately either, and you're right, the antennas do go up. Hugs.
