Am currently switching Jesse over to an all wet food low carb diet, and I'm wondering if I should "reset" his dose?

He was started on 2 units of Lantus at the beginning of April, vet moved it up to 2.5 and then 3, without the advice of changing his diet, so I have just started feeding him this way a couple days ago.
His numbers have still been high, so I'm not sure how to proceed or how to best help him moving forward, and I'm nervous about the change to his diet + the risk of going hypo.

I'm very new, so any help is useful.

We don’t reset here. It never works out. Do you have any tests prior to those on the spreadsheet? How much dry are you feeding or have you completely switched? If gradually switching the change in bg should not happen quickly. You will likely find that if the +2 is a lot lower than the pretest that it could be an active cycle. So far he’s pretty flat.

I would continue with the current dose until a reduction is earned. If still feeding dry a reduction will be earned if under 90 at any time.

I could share the curves from his vet visits, but prior to this I had not been advised to home test so, no I don't have anything else.
We were doing just dry, then dry and wet (since his diagnosis), and now have been just wet (the last couple days). I wasn't sure how quickly the BG would change!
Thank you for the information. I'm going to continue regular home testing and the dose he's at and see what happens.
