Here I am, late again!
It's just one thing after another around here....
Harvey didn't eat much of his morning t/f/s meal, and he wasn't interested in his breakfast, so I gave him the Ondansetron and Cypro, and five minutes later he went over and ate half of his breakfast!
Needless to say, by mid afternoon he had eaten the entire can! I opened another, but he was done.
He ate all his dinner, though, and begged for some of my pot roast (no go - cooked with onions and garlic) so no worries there.
Lovely surf today, and looks like he's pulling a double shift at the lagoon! Not sure what to make of the higher preshots all of a sudden. The only thing I can think of is that I haven't been pulling up his food at +10 because I'm so concerned about his eating enough. Maybe I need to start doing that again and see if those numbers come back down.
I felt like Harvey was going to surf okay after that +4.25, so I slipped away for a pedicure, then hit the car wash (darn birds!) and the grocery store. He was still on his board when I got home.
I sure am enjoying these nice, safe green surfs (ANTI-JINX)!
It's been really hot here the past couple of days. I finally kicked on the A/C yesterday, not only for my comfort, but to hopefully prevent Summer Appy from taking effect. It's supposed to cool off a little tomorrow (to the 80s after two days in the mid 90s), and even more Friday (70s
). We might even get a sprinkle or two, but I'm not holding my breath!
Day 3 is almost in the books and I'm still on plan! I'm getting tired of eggs for breakfast, though. The mayonnaise turned out pretty well, to my surprise. I may just make my own from now on! Next up is clarified butter, the only kind we're allowed to use during the challenge.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Extra vines to @ctmorris & Lucky.
