Yesterday's Condo

Nothing to see here... move along! ;-) :-D Nice quiet Sunday morning. DH got up extra early (I just don't understand that!), and Mama slept in. :-D I-) Of course, DH went straight to bed when we got him late last night, and I stayed up and surfed condos -I'm always wired after the 1 hour drive home from Sacramento and cannot get right to sleep, even though I doze on the drive home (not when I'm driving, of course!).

Cinco's appetite is still stellar. I ran out of regular cat pill pockets for Sasha and had to break out the duck ones (for dogs) - I cut them in half and they work fine, but I want to save those in case Cinco needs them, so it's off to Petsmart today to restock.

I hope everyone is having a lovely, carefree Sunday.

Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG:

Hey Cinco!! Where'd you go last night?? We were splashing around in the lagoon and I looked around and you were gone! And why did you take all the towels?? cat(2)_steam ~ China

Looks like we both have a quiet Sunday without a lot of poking, Tricia! Can't complain (too much!)

Back in the blue for Cinco! .....these two seem to be mirroring each other a lot lately..China goes for a dip, so does Cinco...China's blue...so is Cinco!

Enjoy your Sunday! As long as these two aren't doing something silly, we might as well take advantage of it! :-D

And thus endeth the stress-free Sunday! Sasha just violently threw up the entire contents of her stomach all over my bathroom. It was at least two hours after breakfast, so it wasn't her usual scarf and barf. She didn't seem distressed afterwards (I was enough for both of us), but she didn't want some water, and she usually does have a drink after throwing up. She wasn't feeling sick before, because she ate with her usual enthusiasm. Sigh. I just don't know what to think. I'll just watch her today and if she doesn't want to eat later I'll try some ondansetron. Just what I needed.

Chris, I found a bunch of damp towels on the floor near the family room sofa this morning. I wondered where they came from. Apparently Cinco doesn't like to be wet and felt he needed them all to dry off.

Hey, China, I think you two should continue this nice, quiet Sunday into the evening. Some low blues, high greens might be nice, but no funny stuff, okay? I have to get up really early in the morning to take Sasha to the vet and would appreciate a good night's sleep. I'm sure Cinco will listen to you! ;-)

I hope your Sunday continues to be calm, Chris!

Sorry about the vomiting with Sasha. Hope she is feeling better and is was a one time thing. Glad that Cinco is doing well.

Aw, I'm sorry Sasha threw up....I hope it was an isolated incident. My civvie, Zen, did the same thing tonight. If it ain't one thing, it's another.

I'm glad all is all with Cinco and I hope you're able to enjoy is evening...sending feel better prayers for Sasha...

Nice solid, non worrying blue surf from Cinco. I guess he knows you've got plenty to worry about without him.

So sorry to hear about Sasha throwing up. As we get closer to serious shedding season I'm expecting my civie to start that regularly too. :YMSIGH:

Paws crossed for a stress free evening at your place.

Sometimes they just want to vomit! I hope it's just that.
Have a peaceful evening, Tricia

Keep that slide going, Cinco!

Nice blues for Cinco...hope he will dip his toes back in The lagoon. Sounds like he really doesn't like his tipsy toes damp.

I hope Sasha is better. Cats and vomiting ....

Thanks for the visits, Catherine, Amy, Wendy, Ella and Marje.

Sasha has always had a sensitive stomach, so her throwing up is nothing new. It's just that this seemed different. It was a couple hours after eating, not 30 minutes, and it was violent. With her surgery tomorrow, it really scared me. She rested all day and had quite an appetite for dinner. I just checked on her, and as of four hours after dinner, she has not thrown up again, so I do feel somewhat better. I guess I'm just hyper-sensitive about her because of the surgery.

Cinco does not appear to be anxious to take a moonlight swim tonight. I'm fine with his hanging in the blues, though. I do want to try to get to bed at a decent hour, since I have to get up early to take Sasha in. He decided to go back to the living room today, after hanging with us in the family room for the past week or two. I don't know why. Maybe we're too noisy for him?

I hope everyone has a good night and all your kitties surf safely.
