Good Monday Everyone,

Stu must have slept all night: he didn't eat his +9 snack! This morning he is pacing around because he doesn't want us to go on our paddle! Ate a good breakfast (2 installments), drank out of a water bowl he NEVER drinks from (he always drinks from one of the other ones), and tried to avoid his shot. But he did have good litterbox action. We're about to leave for the day. Food is in the automat, snacks are out, water is out. I'll get another test before we leave, but won't be able to post it until later. Everyone have a great day. It's a perfect day here. We're paddling on the Ausable River and about a half mile on Lake Champlain to connect with the other branch of the Ausable (but there is hardly any wind, so it should be OK).

I hope you come home from a wonderful paddle to see the marvelous Stu with some great numbers...and maybe a good meal that he cooked up too! :mrgreen:

Stu - what is up with sleeping through a food offering! Are you nuts? that's ok though - you can make up for it later, 'k? I've taken over a couple of my bean's planter boxes, she's not too happy about that. I think it's all the dirt and stuff that gets stuck in my fur, and ends up all over the floors and the carpet. :lol: Life is good when you are a cat - don't ya think? later, Mannie

Hey Stu--Ya gotta keep these human beans in line, by ruffling their feathers!! :lol: --Not eating, no pooping, being distant, messing up the house, putting toys in your food dish(with food in it of course) and stressing out to make your numbers go up!!

Stu- Are you okay? Sleeping through food isn't like you! I hope you have a nice quiet day without your beans, poke-free and peaceful. Call me if you get bored, maybe we will go over to Shadow's and help him through the thunderstorm.

Hi again, We had a great day on the water and Stu apparently was bored and slept through most of the day. It looks like he didn't get much out of the yellow. He ate some of his food, but left intact the second offering from the Automat (maybe he was asleep and didn't know that it had opened; he dove into it as soon as we were home). Oh well, some days are like that! And Mr. Cat will have to adapt to the summer schedule.
Our paddle was terrific. We were in a bird-watching area--a wetland-- and were thrilled to see an Osprey nest with mama Osprey, a great-blue heron nest with mama Heron, a white egret, and numerous smaller birds: swallows, red-winged blackbirds, song sparrows, kingfishers, grackles, robins, cardinals, many Canada geese and various kinds of ducks, including a mama Merganser with about 10 chicks. There was hardly any wind and Lake Champlain was like a mill pond. Beautiful views of the Green Mountains in Vermont. We all stopped for ice cream on the way home (Stu would have liked that, since he used to be an ice-cream freak. But we didn't bring any home for him!).
So now we are hoping to see better numbers for Stu for tomorrow. Shad-0 won today's contest, that's for sure! Looking forward to visiting condos this evening.

What a nice paddle you had today. I love seeing the wildlife on those kinds of trips. I hope Stu gives you some nice blues/greens tonight and tomorrow.
