Happy Full Flower Moon day! shadow is celebrating with a relaxing pink this morning. I was happy to see the blues last night, but he decided to go up instead of hitting green. He has 3 Ps so far....and uh, I do believe the hairball was his. I thought it was something else at first and I was shocked. But after further investigation, I realized that it was a 3" brown hairball and then it seemed the hair that was packed inside was black. Mama Beans have to investigate things like this ya know! Eeeuuuuwww! He is bound to feel better with that out of his system! Geeeesh! SO glad that I don't get hairballs...(yet....who knows where I am heading with this closeness I have with my two!!!)
BTW, my DS is going to be visiting for a few days. Raja will no doubt take up residence in my closet for the entire time. She is the sister that dangled Raja over the table while looking in the mirror at her....the sound I heard was my chin dropping to the floor with a loud crash and Raja suddenly letting out a blood-curdling scream as she flew onto the table and out of the room! I won't forget THAT episode! Whatever possessed her to do that will remain a mystery although she used to sit with Shadow on her lap. Did she think that Raja would be as warm and fuzzy to her? Maybe.
She had a different think coming after that! NO ONE takes liberties like THAT with Raja!
Raja doesn't even allow most people to get near her, much less TOUCH her! OH... the HORROR of that moment!
So yeah, Raja will be scarce while DS is here. ohmygod_smile

I am always amazed at the hairballs my two come up with. I have no idea how that fit in their bodies. It has got to be uncomfortable. Of course, you always have to investigate though. :smile:

Poor Raja. It is funny how two cats can be so different. They are each unique and have their own personalities. My two are about as opposite as you could get. Tarragon is so sweet and would never bite or scratch someone. You can pick him up and do whatever you want to him and he won't care. Now if Turnup is in a mood, she will walk right up and bite you for no reason, especially if she doesn't know you and only my DH can pick her up.

Looks like Shadow is bouncing from his greens 2 days ago--Hope he comes up for you today.
Moonie usually bounces for 72 hours after a low number...
Enjoy your DS and hope that Raja doesnt get too upset..Hugs from us!!
 
Good morning guys .. whatcha doing up on the pink floor shadow? I think everyone is hanging out on the lower levels today chatting up about the party last night .. you should go down and join them .. So glad my girls don't get hairballs *knock on everything I need to knock on* But my girls before used to get them .. yuck! Have a great day guys!
 
Pink again Shadow? Come on down a little so your mom can relax. The fll_moon is waning now so all is safe.

My DN must have done something like that w/ Tess. The next time he was over ar Thanksgiving she came in, drawn to the aromas of turkey, saw him and did the cartoon spin, front half already around the corner to the living room, back half at a right angle scrabbling for a grip on the kitchen floor! :lol: Since then she does not appear at family dinners.
 
You can bring it down, Shadow! You will get him down into the lovely blues and greens - give it time.

So funny about the cat personalities. I have sister kitties - tortoise shell cats who look so alike that most people can't tell them apart. My DH once accidentally gave the civvy sister Mala's shot one morning before coffee. (She was okay - it was only a .25 dose.)

Both hate work men, or just men with work belts. Other than that, they are night and day. Zuli is shy, hates to be picked up, and only wants attention on her terms. NOT a lap cat. Mala, on the other hand, is the house slut. Unaccompanied laps will receive her blessing if left too long on the couch.

How funny they are.
