Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is PINK this morning! Stress from yesterday, when we were out all day? Ate nighttime food just before AMPS (always likely)? Whatever. He got his dosecrease: up a drop to a skinny .75 (1.12mm on digital calipers, Terumo syringe). It's been a week since the beginning of our trip to NYC and 4 days since we returned home. Rusty needs a nudge to get back to his normal numbers.

We never did get the rain here. Maybe tonight and tomorrow. This afternoon Edward and I are going to scout out the route of the paddle we're leading the group on on Wednesday. We want to see the level of the water, whether it will be possible to get into two small, ancillary ponds, and how the campsites look as possible sites for lunch.

OK, Rusty. You've been nudged. Now trudge your floofy self down the path to the Lagoon. Slowly, gently with maybe a little blue surf along the way. But make that nudge budge those numbers!

This is so "un-Rustylike" I hope he is feeling okay, need to eat in order to keep up your strength Rusty! Hope all goes well with your afternoon plans Ella! :bighug::bighug:
 
Rusty, my friend! Come on back down as Marilyn said a nice, steady slide down would be very nice....and then stay down, mmmmkay?
 
Holy smokes, Rusty, whatcha doin way up there? We miss you at the lagoon! I's gonna stop in this afternoon and wanna see you closer to the lagoon, at least in the blue, k? You hasn't been the same since your trip to the big apple. C'mon down, LagoonMeister.

A ink Rusty??? What is up with that? Work that juice Rusty, the lagoon needs you!

Enjoy the scouting trip. I do alot of those too when looking for places for the boys.They can be quite fun. I hope all is as you wish it to be for your upcoming paddle. :) and no rains too!

We're not there yet, but at least Rusty came down a little all day. He's been eating pretty well and has been feeling good. I hope the dosecrease will get him back to the lagoon in a day or so.

Our scouting paddle was wonderful. I hope we have such a good day on Wednesday, when we do the paddle with the group. The trees were all in their new, spring green. The tamaracks were in needle (larch trees; they look like evergreens, but drop their needles in the fall). We saw loons, black ducks, and heard Ovenbirds, Nuthatches, Woodpeckers, and Kingfishers. Here's a picture of the stream that leads from Pink Pond to Little Pink Pond--very remote: no man-made noises at all!

Rusty!!! I thought you were behind me man, on the slide.....what happened......I don't want to swim on my own and Neko can't find the slide either. :eek:

Maybe we needs an assistant LagoonMeister....or LagoonMistress....that way on those days you're off picking posies we can still keep an eye on the kitties. I been practicing my backstroke!! ~ China

Sure hope the dosecrease brings Rusty back down where he belongs!! The lagoon needs its Meister on duty!
 
Yay, Rusty!!! We miss you, of course we'll save some hot dogs for you. I believe someone mentioned a party, I think it was Sheba. We can celebrate your return! I's still pretty new, and thought I saw you keeping an eye on me, China. Thanks :cat:

I's been spending a lot of time in the lagoon lately, so I could be assistant Meister! A course, I can't see, so it's hard to "watch over" things, but China could be co-assistant and help me out! We got your back, Rusty! - Cinco

Thanks for sharing the picture, Ella. I often wonder what it all looks like when you are talking about the scenery and the wildlife on your paddles. How serene.
