Good Morning, Everyone,

We finally have a blue AMPS!! (And the first blue in 2 days). Yay! Rusty must have been hungry last night, because he woke me up meowing in the middle of the night. But then he settled down again. His nighttime food dish was licked clean. This morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast combo plate of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey, the lung treat, and a nap in his basket. We didn't schmooze because I took Edward to the dentist to get his new crown put in. And as soon as he gets back we are driving down to Camp (Indian Lake) with some stuff. We'll then meet our friends who live down there and drive to Old Forge for the big annual PaddleFest, having lunch along the way. We'll be home in the late afternoon, in time for PMPS. So Rusty will be on his own today with lunch and snacks served by his automat.

Yo Kitties: I'm home alone today (and will be tomorrow, too, when my beans are out on a paddle). Anyone want to come spend some time on my porches, bake some cimmamum cookies, have a few mintinis, and just chillax? I've got a tuna pizza in the freezer.

Morning Ella, nice to see Rusty come down this morning. Also a very nice report. Love hearing about his schmoozes and lung treatments. Sounds like a really enjoyable day for you and DH. Hope all goes well with the new crown. Have a great day.

BLUE amps! YES!!! Way to go Rusty! Looks like he likes the new dose, maybe just the catalyst he needed to get back to the lagoon. You are looking mighty fine there this morning Rusty. Surf well. :cool:

Your day sounds wonderful - Camp Stu! Nice to meet up with friends, head on down (or up?) to the paddle fest etc. What a great time. I have to smile everytime I read about Camp Stu. What great memories it brings: all those kitty adventures and parties. just all of it. It is really nice to see Rusty carrying on with the tradition of it all. Enjoy the time spent there - I know there will be many adventures starting out at camps stu over the course of the summer. What fun!

Rusty - enjoy your time with the kitties today. Have a cimmamum cookie for Mannie. OOO! enjoy that shrimp salad that Ripley is bringing, and the tuna pizza. YUM! Party on kitties!

Sounds like a party-when-the-Beans-are-out day for Rusty! My two will be there...with bells on!!

Nice start to the day, but you've got a way to go to the Lagoon, Rusty.

Really full day planned, but it sounds like fun.

Rusty, my silly beans are just not keeping up w/ the events in LL. I be there in a flash to back and snooze on the porches! -- Tess

I was surprised to see the 294 at PMPS. I wonder what kind of numbers he had for most of the day. I think Rusty was stressed because he was left alone (he doesn't like to be alone). All of his food had been eaten when we returned, just before PMPS, and he was looking in his dishes for shards of food. He's napping on the couch now. Poor kitty had to be by himself all day (and will be for a lot of tomorrow, too).

The beans had a wonderful day. It actually seemed like a vacation. We took some staples down to Camp and it was like we'd never left. Then we met our friends and drove the hour or so from Indian Lake to Old Forge, stopping for lunch near Inlet. PaddleFest was fun. We saw quite a few friends there. We looked at all the new gear. I bought a new PFD (personal flotation device, aka life vest). Then we drove home (about a 2-hour drive). I will try out my new life vest on tomorrow's paddle (but will bring an old one along, too, just in case).

Hope all is well in LL. I'm tired tonight and probably won't get to many condos. But I'm thinking of you all.

Hi Ella. Seems like Rusty got through the day being alone ok. Looks like he's going to surf the yellow zone and allow you to get some sleep.

Glad you & Edward had a good time at the big annual PaddleFest with you friends today. Have a great evening.
