Good Evening, Everyone,
We hope you all are having a good weekend. Rusty is having a bit of a bounce today, or should we call it a "rest day". The weather turned cold and sunny and windy and all of that murk and rain are gone. Rusty held the fort today while the beans were out on a paddle. He enjoyed some outdoor time in the late afternoon. I discovered the reason why Chip Chip's cheeks were so stuffed with sunflower seeds (see the pic in yesterday's condo): I had forgotten to put the lid back on the seed bucket!!!
Our paddle was terrific: 5 ponds of various sizes and a wonderful, winding outlet from one pond to another. Saw lots of red-winged blackbirds in this wetland area. The wind crossing the largest pond was fierce, but exhilarating. Sorry, no pics. My camera was buried in my pack.
Wishing you all a good evening and heading over to visit some condos. No word on how Jean is in the nursing home. Her family is with her this weekend.
