Yesterday http://208.131.143.77/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=71155 was a nice little run into some lower blues and potentially another colour that I wasn't home to test. And today we are going through the resulting bounce.

Neko had a rather quick drop at +3, so I gave her a tsp of MC as an experiment to see if we can lessen the bounce from a fast drop. I'll be home to test during the day to see what effect it had. She is currently settled on the sofa, which means she thinks she has gotten all the food she is owed this morning. CPC as usual, hung out with her BFF the autofeeder for a couple of hours, one quick deck patrol after breffie and now it's time to rest.

This is dose 3 at this dose after dental (which was a half dose day). Neko has 3 more cycles to show more green before we are going up.

For her +9.5 snack, we are trying something new today. I got some chicken wing tips yesterday. They are good for her teeth so I hope she likes them. I expect she will. Civie Theo will be a harder sell.

OT rowing: the northwest wind didn't hit our part of the water this morning so all was flat again. We did the eastern 3 island route (Twin Island, Raccoon Island and Jug Island), steady state rowing which means long and hard with only one stop for the 12 km route. It's another sunny day but with a breeze here - supposed to degrade by Sunday.

+5 239

Neko seems to be blowing through this bounce rather nicely. I'm glad to see some yellows today. Not sure what effect the MC had 2 hours ago though.

What a nice string of blue yesterday! Even though she did not have any dental infection, I wonder if the cleaning alone could have helped her overall...maybe her numbers will come down.

PMPS 507 +2 552, another early to bed pass. Quite the bounce, just from yellows! Or the fast drop this morning. The MC either didn't do anything or was too late. I didn't do a +2 because she was so high in the morning I didn't think she'd drop much. Lesson learned, don't try to predict what a cat will do. The MC might have been better as a +2 addition.

The chicken wing tips were a hit with Neko. Theo didn't know what to do with them, but I got him to eat a bit of neck, which is a good addition for calcium.

@Tamara - yes, it was a good workout this morning, and I've got blisters to show for it.

@Marje - I'm not sure if the dental did anything, as she has done low blues before. Time will tell. I am also wondering whether the abrupt change from the 2.5 dose (1/2 dose) to 5.0 dose had an impact. That is the best I've seen on this dose, so I'll likely be going up again on Saturday morning.

We try our best to do things for our kitties but sometimes it works sometimes not. Dont be discouraged Wendy. Slowly Neko will stablize with those up & down, just give him the time.
