Hoping that NDW has come and gone and the Neko will start working the increase. Late condo (again :oops:), beans were out on the water enjoying the sunny Victoria Day weekend. Speaking of sunny, guess where the kitties have been. :) Neko's been a purry girl today - I got a purr breakout as I was finishing acupressure after breffs. That always makes me feel good.:joyful::joyful: I do think the Duralactin is helping her too, she seems to be moving around a little easier.

It was supposed to be rainy today, or at least showers, but no dice. Not only am I going to have to water the garden, it's not helping motivate me to finish off the grant application I'm doing for the rowing club. It's first come first served and due Tuesday morning.

Thanks for the comment on my condo, Wendy. I thought I had this all figured out, sorta, but now....all those figures have fallen on the floor and gotten all jumbled up!

Neko, the slippery slide to the lagoon is in the woods. I found it this morning when I was in the woods. I saw the Lagoon Meister there and he was looking for the slide as well. I am half way down the slide so far.....come on......hurry up.....Sheba :cat:
 
I can't think of anything more soothing than the sound of a kitty purring. I can see why Neko purring after acupressure would make you feel so good, Wendy.:):cat:

We were supposed to get rain this weekend, too. All we got were a few clouds and a cool wind. Oh well, at least it wasn't HOT!
 
Sure do wish we would get some rain. It's dry and hot here. Grass is starting to look a little parched and brown in spots -- and that's with it being watered. We were out on your coast a few years back and everything was just so green and beautiful. Our friends live in Portland and I swear I think if they left their windows up that moss would grow on their furniture. So, so, so much beautiful green out there.

Good luck on the grant paperwork. Sometimes I have to set a timer to get over that mental hurdle of actually sitting down and doing something I've been procrastinating on. It never really takes as long as I tell myself it's going to take so when I set the timer my mind knows that I only need to focus for 30 minutes, or 15, whatever; by the time it dings I'm either finished or so close to being finished that the mission gets accomplished. The biggest reward is having it off from my mental plate of things to do. It seems to weigh the heaviest there.

Hope Neko gets to enjoy some green today!

Looks like a good day yesterday for Neko. I will hope for more of the same today, maybe even some greens!

Nice that you had sun yesterday. Ours didn't show until about 1 or so, but sure was nice when it did!

Good luck with the grant application. How wonderful it would be if you can get one of those.
