Labs are updated. Thyroid is just barely within normal limits. He's been acting ever so slightly off - less active, less social - so we're hoping it's just an adjustment period. Vet wants to increase methimazole dose once he starts perking back up (unless it takes too long, then we'll do it anyway).
Pleasant surprise, kidneys are still hanging in there!
Interesting surprise, wbc, neu, mono all low. I remember reading in the methimazole pamphlet about that being a rarer side effect. Just have to be very cautious about infection, but at the moment it's lesser of two evils compared to thyroid.
