Morning ~O) this blue AMPS is not too bad, as Mags had a good appy with the overnight fuds. I left her some Royal Canin Renal LP and also some Cowboy Cookout, and she had an almost CPC of both plates. Now Mags has changed her mind and likes the CC. :-D I guess RC is still okay but not as an only entree.

Mags just now had some very aromatic prezzies this morning and the whole time chatting away in the lb. I thought she was calling me for a btd, but was having an enjoyable time in the lb when I went to check on her. It must be the RC that makes them so perfumery! I so dread the tushy wash, and so does Mags. I've cleaned her up partly with the kitty wipes, but for some reason she really dislikes them. They stay cool in the container may be one reason. I went back up to her 1/4 tsp. Miralax four times/day. If I decrease, she gets constipated, so we will deal with the softies as per the Vet also.

Have a nice day. I have to stick around this morning for a call from Vetty on Maggie's urinalysis results. I have errands later that I didn't accomplish yesterday. Looking forward to Lil bit Elsa kitteh Barista delivery, yum as she makes awesome mocha drinks.

Thanks John, Lisa, Kat, and Ella for the visits last evening. Healing vines to kitties and Beans needing them.

Re: 5/17 Maggie AMPS 188

Yay for prezzies! It's too bad there doesn't seem to be a dose between "softees" and "no go", but softee is definitely better than the alternative. Nice start for Maggie, and how cute that she's just chatting away in the box...singling a little song to make the time pass  !!

Fingers crossed for good test results. Did the vet have any ideas about Maggie's tush-out-of-the-box-while-peeing issues?

Have a great day, Ann!

Re: 5/17 Maggie AMPS 188

Go Maggie Go! Well, for a surf down to green and well, in the litter box too!

It may be an indignity, but I ended up cutting all the hair around our old dog's butt after too many unpleasant butt cleanings, that occasionally involved nips. It's too bad there is no perfect dose of Miralax!!!

Think    Sweet Mags!

I think we'll have a nice slow day if the +3 is anything to go by with Mags.

Hi Amy, yes, so cute hearing her sing in the lb. My Siamese used to always do the same singing in the lb when having a bm. She copies him a lot!
The Vet just seemed to agree with me when I akded if the peeing partly out the box might be a UTI. I also mentioned arthritis. The last kidney infection she started peeing outside the box. I wonder if this is a symptom of most kitties with a UTI?

Hi Lisa & Leo, thanks for the cheers for Mags. That's interesting on the butt cutting hair, as the Vet Tech suggested a shave back there for Mags. I thought about next time getting a groomer there to shave Maggie's butt so the cleanup would be much easier. I would have done so yesterday, and also a bath, but the groomer wasn't there, and they seemed a bit short handed. Someone had called in with an emergency, too.

Re: 5/17 Maggie AMPS 188; +3 172

Good morning, Ann!
Singing in the LB? That's so sweet.
Every now and then one of my students sing while in the bathroom, thinking no one can hear ~ it's so funny and sweet to suddenly hear a 3-yr-old belt out the ABCs from the bathroom  .

I hope you get Maggie's urinalysis results back soon... I'm not sure if it's a typical symptom of uti, but it's definitely a common one. With Ripley's last uti she peed on the floor once, but with her current uti, there was no out-of-box peeing... Cats...

Enjoy your day today!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)
Auntie Ann! OPENS! I knocked really hard, just like Mannie said too and scratched just a little, so opens, 'K? I got mega good stuff for you!~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Nice start for Maggie today. It looks like a very nice blue surf in the making. I hope her vetty visit went well. I just didn't make it back to see. Good luck wit the labs - I hope all is well there.

YAY too for prezzies. I think I would opt too on the softies too - sure beat the constipation thing. Mannie never was a fan of the tushie wipes either. I finally elected to go the tush wash route, He eventually got used to them. As long as I didn't use the lavender soap.

YA too on the CC being back on the menu.

Enjoy your day today, and the errands, Maybe a walk somewhere in there too?

Detective Poo here, making some quick rounds this morning. Well done, Mags! :-D :-D :-D Those butt Washington are a pain in the .... A little shave would be worth it if it makes it easier. Have a great day, Ann!

Re: 5/17 Maggie AMPS 188; +3 172

You know they make a warmer for baby wipes.... if those become a permanent fixture....

Shadow has never had a "groomer" but every time she goes to the vet, the vet takes the clippers and trims off lots of hair in that area for me since Shadow won't let me near her
with scissors. ( I have to sneak and get one snip at a time ;-) )
So we never have styled hair with even cuts....

It might reduce Maggie's BW time.... ( buttwash)

Not looking like a Lagoon day for Mags. I may have either done a fur shot or misdose. :?

Josie, thanks on your kitty experiences with a UTI. So cute with one of your three olds singing in the bathroom. They all sound so sweet.

Hey Elsie Lil Bit, I just love your 10 Hour energy coffee and the awesome coffee drink with a dollop of ice cream. Mannie is looking down and proud, Auntie Ann
Michelle, yes a walk later. We have a heavy cloud cover but nice 60's temps. Thanks on the prezzies.

Detective Poo, knew you would be proud of Mags. And I guess she was proud of herself, too, from all the vocal in the lb.

Rhiannon, I didn't know there were warmers for the wipes. Yes, it's a permanaent thing. They are expensive, $9.99 for a tub of 100. Wag.com has same pricing. I'm making a trek to Walmart later and will check their price. I could not find them last time. I wish I could snip Maggie back there, but she won't let me touch her butt area, unless she's sitting in a basin of water, and she's partly standing with me holding onto her.

Re: 5/17 Maggie AMPS 188; +3 172; +5 191

How cute that she sings when taking her little dump  Maybe she's asking for a little trim around back? You're such a good kitty Mommy!!!

PMPS 219
A little on the high side today for Mags ending in a sunny yellow. I didn't hear from the Vet yet but will place a call to see if the results are there.

Rhiannon, thanks for that info on the warmers. I didn't make it to Walmart today but plan on it tomorrow.

How cute that she sings when taking her little dump
  Kat, that made me laugh! I think a little trim back there may help as I didn't realize there was so much fur.

Hi Ann.......I'm surprised at the bum trimming talk, as Mags looks like she has short hair.

Boy, do I ever understand your dilemma. Clancy has long hair and I have to periodically trim his britches. I can't just wipe, when he gets messed. I swear sometimes he sits in his doodoo. He has little short legs, I guess he can't get up high enough to avoid it.

That is the cutest thing, Mags singing in the 'bathroom' .. :-D

Hi Ann.......I'm surprised at the bum trimming talk, as Mags looks like she has short hair.
 Hi Barb, it is quite amusing. Mags's hair is not long like a Main Coon but long enough back there for the poo to get stuck in there, and since she's having such soft poos, a trim would be nice. She won't let me cut it, so the Vet's office has a Groomer, so I'll make an appt. I hate to stress her out though. Maybe I could give it a try.
Yes, that singing in the lb was so darned cute. :-D

Oh good news, no UTI! :-D The Vet said her urinalysis results were normal, no infection. So that's the good news as no antibiotic is needed or extra pill. I'll just have to get around Maggie's brain and see what's up. She didn't do any outside the box activity today.

I'm so glad to hear she doesn't have a UTI. Now, Mags, why are you hanging that tushie out??? Maybe she wants a shiny new box? Kitties are so funny when it comes to their boxes...

We have to occasionally take our civvie, Noah, for a "Kitty Brazilian", but he's also a long hair. But, with his digestive issues, I can sympathize. The tech's at our vetty office do it.

Did you also get her BW results?

Hi Ann. Maggie's numbers aren't that bad today. She still has plenty of time to visit the Lagon. Glad that she doesn't have a UTI, infections and not going outside the LB. Looks like she'll have a pleasant night.

Have a great evening Ann.
