No I haven’t. How often should I test?Without insulin since last friday morning there is no need to keep testing during a cycle. The depot should be quite drained.
You have been through OTJ trials before, right? (sorry if I am confusing inky with another cat)
Fingers crossed inky stay on the greens!!!
With no insulin on board, I would just test at PMBG. Feed as usual except for 2 hours before AMBG and PMBG.How often should I test?
With no exogenous insulin on board, Inky is not in danger. My favorite low BG cat was Simba - look at his OTJ trial. That is a low AMPS, Cindy. Make sure you check again soon and feed when necessary. It is great that Inky has been off the insulin for a few days. Just keep an eye on him with that low number.
Wow, Simba really went into remission quickly. With no insulin on board, I would just test at PMBG. Feed as usual except for 2 hours before AMBG and PMBG.

He hasn't had any insulin since Friday. How about not shooting tonight, and testing in three hours to see if he's come down on his own? Not uncommon in an OTJ trial early on, which is why we have that listed in the instructions.
