He gave me my payback today for all the torture. I picked him up and flipped him onto my lap for the BG test, and he peed up into the air like a baby boy being changed. Got me, my chair, my table..... HAH!

BTW - I thought there may've been a leak in last night's shot, but looks like it wasn't since the #'s are only a little higher than last night's PMPS...

@rhiannon and shadow - He gets tons of loving. That's actually what worries me most about his health. He has always been the embodiment of snuggle cat - and now, although he still loves it - he can't take it too long - wants to go off and be alone. Not hiding or anything, but alone. I WISH I could find a treat he wants. He's not interested in any of his favorites right now. Still working on it... But the peeing thing.. that was kinda hilarious...:)

My boy isn't well...... just thinking though - started him on Curcumin a few days ago. One dose every 2 days... it interacts with Pepcid, but I upped his Pepcid and he ate fine... but I'm thinking that despite all the amazing claims about curcumin, maybe it's not the best choice for him. Gonna check one more dose tomorrow, and then try him off it for a week at least. To see if it's advancing illness, or reaction. UGH!
He's getting so many hugs.

Oh - last night, he stayed in the bed longer than he has in some time - I was so happy! Then, middle of the night, he has a coughing attack and it makes him pee the bed. :( We have a leakproof bed pad on, but since we had to remove it, we couldn't bring him back up... I was so sad after that.... I miss my snuggle boy doing his thing...:(

Here's his post from yesterday. We link them each day just to help in case someone needs to go backwards and read what's happened before.

Just in looking at Dr. Google, it looks like curcumin is safe for cats, but even so, if he's having a bad time i think i'd hold off on it and see if it helps him improve. Even something safe can disagree with anyone - people or cat!

I remembered his Lasix tonight and upped his dosage. Changed meds completely. No curcumin for a while. Doing extra Lasix for a couple of days balancing with sub q. Watch the shot up close tonight. Saw me go through and through 100%. I reduced and so I'm comfortable about it. nothing got in him in the first shot. Normally I'd never reshoot. This time I watched it 100% miss.

I wonder how long that's been happening? His Skin is so freaking thin!

Oh, I was so messed up tonight! Forget to say thank you, @julie & punkin (ga)

And the Lasix is doing what it should, and hopefully takes pressure off his chest (he's had pleural effusion before, but I can't get more X-rays right now). Last time, with the Lasix, he at least was peeing near the boxes. Now he tries, but we have to have puppy pads on the living room floor. No visitors for us! He's peeing a lot though. Will really need that sub q tomorrow evening.

I hope this brings his appetite back. No curcumin, so the pepcid can be full potential, only the most important ibd stuff, app stim, Lasix and insulin. Even limited, it's a long list!

At least now I can see why the insulin numbers are wonky. Only shooting close up, from now on!
