Are you feeding anything? When Blackie was in the 30's they told me to give him a little HC gravy and keep checking. Breathe, Lisa, you can do this.

yes I am feeding small amounts I started when I saw the 29 and went OMG and yeah trying to breath I hate 40's and 20's UGHH guess I am handling it not much choice you know he at least ate hoping he is up from the 38 next time I test

Yes I am he seem Ok for the most part he is acting a tad weird so it must be the lower BG he is real vocal

More HC please. You want DL surfing in the 50s, not this low. Please lather, rinse repeat in 20 min. intervals until numbers are stable -- at least 2 tests in 20 min. intervals that are in the 50s or better. Then test every 30 -45 min. to make sure the numbers are stable. They may bobble around.

ETA: That's a dose reduction for tonight unless there's a BIG bounce.

Ok we are 75 now I can stop having my heart failure I just called my DH and said Ok just need to talk until time to test Do Lou again he is low and he said Oh is he 40's again I am like no he was 23 nailbite_smile nailbite_smile I just went to get him food and gave him small amounts at 3 times Oh and Sienne I have your low number info advice you gave me a while bk printed out so I referred to it as well and just tried not to panic too much :roll:

That's good, but remember that if you don't tell us you're gravying or feeding or testing, we can't be sure and.... that's makes multiples of us having a stroke, kwim?

Ok sorry about that next time I will make sure to tell you what I am doing the few times this has happened this is my 3rd now I am feeding and testing every 15 min but from now on will list it for you all :YMHUG: :YMHUG: my support team

+7 90 yeah I am getting ready to go have a break to try to unwind I am pretty stressed right now but at least I know now I can handle 20's but would rather not never wanted to see him that low but boy this cat has really been changing a lot since his diet change keeping me on my toes ~O)

I would test at +7.5 and see where the numbers are at and if they are looking stable, a test at +8 and then +9 if there's no wobbling around. This is a much better place to surf for Do Lou's liver to not get overly panicky and for you to be able to breathe.

Good catch and you did great. (Amazing that both Helene and I decided to check the Board from tbp.)

Just got here, going to go read through. I know it is scary but wow, this is great. Lisa he's really going down the dose ladder -- you know what is at the last rung.

You were in control all the time--because you had hc food, strips, and everyone here to help you!!
I used to have heart palpitations when Moonie hit numbers like that, but I learned it's in my control to fix this..( and a bullet to bite :lol: )
