Hi, I have been reading the discussion. I am lost about how to dose my kitty. I work a varying schedule so on late shift (4pm+8pm) might be followed by an early shift (7am-5pm) I try to walk up or down but it seems like constant different **** times and little consistency. Would it be better to give shots 12 hours apart and just skip a dose if it is back to back with the other schedule. Also, my kitty has Ibd and is on budesonide. The Dr just increased her dose slightly. It appears her reaction to insulin is so different I was wondering if it needed to be replaced. Before the bump up in budesonide 1 unit of insulin would create goodsd numbers except overnight it consistently went low like 50s. On budesonide I am seeing consistently mid to high yellos during the Dsy but she doesn't dip below about 80. I would be grateful to hear how anyone else on insulin and steroids.
