? 5/17 AMPS 414+2.50 138?

Looks like the +2.5 was a bad strip? Next time you get an unusually low number, test again to make sure it's not a faulty strip.

Feed like you normally would. :)

I think you can take out the +2.5 reading from your SS.

At 2.50, I first got a "Lo" measurement (meaning lower than 20) before I measured again and got the 138, I am sending the pics.
Maybe they were both a mistake?

That is indeed strange! I doubt it's possible for the BG to go from 138 to 321 in half an hour - that too with a low carb snack!

Do you want to get another test to see if the 321 is correct?

Good morning, Di. I have to agree with Bhooma. Those test seem faulty at 2.5. She wouldn't drop that much just to go up high again. Get another test at +4 or +5 to confirm that she is still high.

Old strips expiration date is in 2023. The old meter is gluneo lite.
I bought new strips and I got a new meter (accu check instant) and I did +5 with both and it was 353 with the old one and 323 with the new one. So they both seem ok as the difference is within the error range.
Can I now use them interchangeably?

Whenever I got an odd reading with a meter I rechecked with my backup one. It’s hard to know what happened. Sometimes too much or too little blood can cause this. We have had a few cats here that appear to bounce around from low to high in just a half hour but it never has seemed right to me.

Please feed LC at +1 and test at +2. If she is lower, you may need more tests at night.
Spreading out the food over PS, +1, +2 helps prevent sudden drops.

If she keeps going lower, feed a little LC with every test/every hour. You don't need to use higher carbs unless she drops very low - say lower than 100.

I also have a late notice change of schedule tomorrow and I will work 9:00-13:00 am. I can test at +11 the latest. My mom will shoot at AM and she will be able to feed too.
Please tell me what is the lowest value I get tomorrow that I tell my mom to: a) shoot 0.75, b) shoot less and how much less and c) not shoot at all ?
After shooting she should give a snack every hour?
I will be home before +4. Please tell me because today she had the lowest ps she ever had!

Can you stay up and get one more test? Then less there’s a big drop feed a little low carb food and go to bed.

Yes. I am so sorry we forget that English is not your first language. You do very well! "Call it a night" as Summer said, means that you tell yourself that the night is over and... in this case... you can go to bed. :-)
