There really isn't too much new to report today. We had several awesome rounds of snuggles yesterday (one lasted nearly an hour long, thus preventing me from doing any sort of housework), and she IS coming downstairs more and more frequently, so I guess that is our current new baby step. She still insists on MamaBean holding the plate to maximize fuds consumption. She ate very, very well last night!
It's been just over 3 weeks since all this started. I think she FEELS pretty close to 100%, despite the wonky eating habits. She is solid, bright-eyed, feisty, and social, but she has been through so much in such a short time period that I can't blame her for having a few quirks at the moment....
I have to work today and I doubt I'll be able to come home to check on things...I have to teach in the morning, and we have another class in the afternoon that my business partner will have to teach, so I really shouldn't leave the store with her being busy with students. But, I know Trix will be fine....I don't know how much she'll eat, but I'll make sure to get as much into her as I can before I leave, and I know we can "catch up" on calories this evening. I really do hope she remembers how much she likes to eat without someone holding the plate, but she HAS come a long way.
AND...for the first time ever, I got the gelcap down on the first try last night! This morning took 3 tries, which is more the average, but hopefully I'll start seeing a trend towards "hole in one" events.
I'm really tired, but am going to attempt a short pre-work workout. Have a great day, LL!
