Hi Everyone,
Getting a late start today. We decided not to go to Old Forge to the PaddleFest exposition because of major storms in that area (and soon to arrive here). So instead I took my NYC bike to the Lake Placid bike shop for some work that has to be done, did some grocery shopping, schmoozed with Rusty and combed him, made lunch, and here it is--afternoon already. The LagoonMeister is still on duty. His numbers have been really great. He has good appetite and good breathing.
Off for a walk before the weather locks in (so far we only have light rain here). I took the enclosed picture of "Chip-Chip" when I got back from the store. He is sitting inside our little greenhouse and has obviously just stuffed his cheeks with seeds. The chipmunks have always had their "home" in our garage/greenouse extention. It's almost as if he/she is showing off, because Rusty can't get into the garage unless the door is open!
