[/URL] Still OK, we start to worry if he doesn't come down. When do I start worrying .. if I see a number above 120?
I am aware of the instructions to check again in 2-3 hours. However, I went to work so I couldn't do that. I do not have an autofeeder. I don't know how that would work because I have a dog that hovers when the cats get their wet food so I have to stay in the kitchen until Tanner (the slowpoke) gets his fill before I let Rex and Keena finish his food off. I worry with the autofeeder that Tanner wouldn't get enough and he's the smallest and the oldest. I would need 4 autofeeders, too!If you look at the instructions for the trial, if you get a blue ambg/pmbg, you feed as normal and then check in 2-3hrs, see if his BG is coming down of his own accord., with his pancreas working the food stimulates the production of insulin and he should come down.
Does he get a PM +9 snack?
LOL that makes it tricky.I have a dog that hovers when the cats get their wet food

I think we discussed this before ... I mentioned my stepson may move out this summer, but a few people said Rex may have other thoughts about needing that room. I'm not concerned about Rex not getting his food... it's Tanner who I worry about because he gets shoved out of his food dish by the other 3 cats if I'm not supervising. We did have a member who made a 'private feeding room' for her kitty.
Of course we did... I remember now.I think we discussed this before ... I mentioned my stepson may move out this summer, but a few people said Rex may have other thoughts about needing that room. That set me off in search of that coffee table on here ... fail. Then I started googling cat feed boxes and saw one you can buy for $200.This isn't the one I was thinking about, the lady I'm thinking about made it look like a coffee table, (her hubby insisted it had to look nice) it was very nice piece of furniture, but none the less the pic on this thread illustrates the idea. Something like that might work for Tanner, if access to the compartment was only granted to him by a microchip catflap, or one that requires magnet (they are cheaper)
