I am wondering if Lantus Land people could stop in and look at Gem's condo on Health. Gem has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease. Her skin tears very easily, so Karen is very limited with how much she can test Gem. Any struggle could rip an opening in her skin. Karen has been trying to fill in gaps in her data with urine glucose tests whenever she can get them. Gem is being treated with Trilostane for her Cushing's disease. Cushing's is caused by an adrenal or pituitary growth, and may, in some cats, be a high dose condition. Gem is on 3U of Lantus, BID. They have consulted with Dr. Mark Peterson, a renowned endocrinologist.
I am useless with spreadsheets, so I am asking folks to take a look at her condo. She needs advice on test/feed/shoot timing, and any insights people might have into the limited SS data she has been able to get.
Thank you, Lantus Land. I would appreciate any help you can give.
