The bright light award today goes to Minka: she ate her entire breakfast in one sitting and has since had two refills!!!

I have a couple more small cans, so I think I'll serve it again before I go out and buy a bunch! You never know if she'll eat it next time!

Sasha has had another bad day. In spite of her morning Ondansetron, she only ate a couple of bites of the two different fuds I offered for breakfast, even with seasoning. I gave her some Cerenia, and she threw up a few minutes later! :( I waited a half hour and gave her some SEB. She's been hiding for a couple of hours, but I drew her out by opening a jar of baby food and she's eating it now, so hopefully she's feeling better. As I said yesterday, it's always something around here!

Harvey steadfastly refused to eat the Turducken, even with FD salmon on it, so I've been trying to get it into him (it contains all his supplements) by putting a little FF on top. He's not really falling for it - is good at eating around the stuff he doesn't like. :rolleyes: He is also employing the time honored trick of spreading it around on his plate so it looks like he ate some. Not falling for it, buddy!

Beautiful day here. I have tons to do, and looks like Cinco's finally up out of shark territory, so I'm going to get moving. Will try to visit some tonight, after the NASCAR All-Star race..

Sheesh Cinco - you gonna make mommabean take the long way for this reduction?:eek: Looks like another busy day at Tricia's house. Great news on Minka eating. :) And Harvey, gotta keep that reputation as a hoover intact - no fooling the bean.
 
I'm glad Cinco decided to surf a little higher for you. Great news that Minka ate so well. I hope Harvey got his supplements. Poor Sasha. I hope she's feeling better.

Happy to hear Minka ate so enthusiastically! That's one worry off your shoulders..at least for now. Hopefully Sasha will eat better for you tonight too.

Harvey did finally finish his breakfast - about an hour ago! He was rewarded with a snack of some Soulistic Polynesian Picnic, which he devoured.

Sasha has eaten two small spoonfuls of baby food so far, and (anti-jinx) has kept it down. I'll offer a little more shortly.

Actually, Elise, my plans involve sitting right here to watch the race, so Cinco can go ahead and earn that reduction tonight if he wants to! Fortunately he hangs out in the family room, where the big TV is. I don't mind monitoring him while I'm watching, at all. Of course, shot time isn't until 7:30 and the race will probably be over by +2, so it doesn't matter.

Yes, Chris. He IS being a little snot, but I'm not going to complain about all that lovely green and the fact that he lets me poke his ear a million times! :D

Yea for Minka. Must have been her turn to eat in the kitty conspiracy. If only they'd all conspire to eat all the time. You know, kitties. If you all ate great the same day, it might really throw the bean for a loop. You oughta try it!

Enjoy the race. I don't get that network so just catch up on line from time to time. Not quite as exciting!

Minka's appy slowed down a bit this evening, but she has eaten some cat food, some baby food and some boiled chicken, so it's all good. Sasha is still not 100%. She's eaten some more baby food, a little cat food and a little boiled chicken. She's pretty much hanging out under the bed. I'm hoping she'll come out and sleep with me like she usually does, but we'll see.

Our contractor was here today to stain the handrail and paint the wall it's on, so the windows have been open all day. It's getting pretty cool, so I'm starting to close windows and it still smells like stain. Bleah. I hope that isn't bothering Sasha. I just gave her the evening dose of her asthma meds - I'm pretty sure she lost this morning's dose when she threw up. Hopefully she'll keep this one down.

I'm enjoying a glass of wine after dinner. The race was disappointing, but that's sports! Time to go warm up the bag for Minka's squids.
